With their help, you can decorate your home or garden, as well as make beautiful and original crafts that will delight not only children, but also adults.

Most balloon crafts are quite simple and can be done with your children.

Here are some fun crafts you can create using regular balloons:

1. Balloon decoration

Glue a bunch of colorful pompoms to the ball.

2. Crafts from balloons

Decorate small vases with balls.

3. What can be made from a balloon: a holiday surprise

Surprise your loved one. Inflate the balloons with helium, tie ribbons to them, and attach the ribbons to the bottom of the box with tape.

4. Refrigerator made of balloons (photo)

Freeze the balloons with a little water to keep party drinks cool all the time.

5. How to make a drum out of a ball

You can use other containers, but not those with a wide neck. You will also need a pack of rubber bands to secure the balloon to the jar.

6. How to make a holiday decoration using balloons and photos

Inflate the balloons with helium, tie a ribbon to them, and attach photographs to the ribbon with tape. You can also glue photographs to sheets of white cardboard with double-sided tape, make holes in each sheet using a hole punch and tie the tape.

7. DIY balloon idea

Fill the balloon with confetti.

Use a white or clear balloon so the confetti can be seen. To make confetti, you can use any colored paper (plain, corrugated, glossy) and scissors for cutting small parts. You can also buy confetti at office supply stores and online.

8. DIY balloon gift

In addition to confetti, you can put money in the balloon and give it to the birthday person.

9. DIY glowing balloon crafts

You can also put LED light bulbs into the ball. Such light bulbs can be found in small keychains, and they come immediately with a battery.

You can do it yourself:

* Take out the core (the light bulb itself) from the LED light bulb, find a small round battery and place the contacts of the light bulb against the battery (1 on each side). Secure with electrical tape.

10. DIY fruit garland from balloons

You will need:

Small balls of different shapes and colors

Colored paper

Scissors

Strong thread.

* Inflate the balloon.

* Cut out leaves from paper.

* Attach the leaves to the balls and the balls to the thread with tape.

11. DIY master class made from balloons: a jumper for children.

You will need:

Small round balls

Scissors.

* Pour some water into one balloon and tie its tail. Cut off the edge of the ponytail with scissors.

* Take another ball and cut off the tail.

*Place the water balloon inside the second balloon.

* Take another ball and also cut off the tail and insert the workpiece into it.

* Continue adding more beads until the craft is strong enough.

12. Water balloons.

For the holiday, you can fill several balloons with water and hang them in the yard on a rope.

These balls can be used for various competitions. For example, try to burst water balloons in an unusual way.

13. Balloon tutorial: Decorate simple jars with balloons.

You will need:

Multi-colored balls

Jars

Scissors.

14. Balls of thread.

Using ordinary balls, jute thread and PVA glue, you can make these beautiful New Year decorations. You can add New Year's lights to them.

15. Balloon master class: lollipops.

* Inflate the balloon.

* Wrap the balloon in cellophane.

* Attach the ball to a long stick (plywood) with tape. The stick can be painted white.

16. Balloon Crafts: Ice Lamp.

You will need:

Screwdriver or knife

Freezer

Small candle or LED light bulbs

Thread or elastic band (to tie the tail of the ball).

* Fill the balloon with water and then tie its tail. You can add dye to the water to color the future lamp in the desired color.

* Place a balloon of water in a small bowl and place everything in the freezer for 12 hours.

* When the water in the ball freezes, the ball can be removed with any sharp object.

* Use a screwdriver or knife to make a hole in the ice ball. It is possible that there will be unfrozen water inside - it must be carefully poured out.

If there is no water, then by making a small hole, you can insert a plastic tube or small cylinder into it and pour hot water into it to expand the hole in the ice ball.

* Now you can put the ball on a candle or LED light bulb and thus decorate your yard or cottage in winter.

Hello, dear readers! In today's master class, I want to tell you how to make a vase from threads. The process of making a vase will not take much time and effort, and the result will definitely please you. Such a vase made of threads will definitely fit perfectly into any interior and will arouse the interest of your guests... Well, let's get started!

For work we will need:

  • Salad bowl, bowl or plate (that is, select a suitable plate);
  • Glue plate;
  • PVA glue;
  • Scissors;
  • Threads (preferably wool);
  • Foil;
  • Spray paint.

Cover the selected salad bowl with foil, fold the edges of the foil inside the plate.

We cut wool threads; the pieces of thread can be absolutely any (I cut them about 20 - 30 cm).

Pour PVA glue into a plate, in which we soak the cut pieces of thread.

We begin to apply the threads to the salad bowl covered with foil, you can glue the threads in a mess, as it turns out... I tried to recreate something similar to a nest, so I glued the threads first across, then along.

When all the prepared threads are glued, leave the vase to dry. A vase made of thread and glue will dry for about 24 hours.

After that, we remove the wicker vase from the salad bowl and begin to carefully separate the foil from the threads. We begin to separate along the edges, from top to bottom, moving along the perimeter of the product.

When the foil is completely removed, cover the surface of the table with newspaper, place the vase bottom up, arm yourself with a can of paint, and begin spraying paint over the surface of the vase. By the way, a DIY vase made from thread looks much more impressive with a glossy sheen, so it’s better to purchase paint with shimmering particles (I used chrome paint).

When the paint dries, turn the vase upside down and paint the inside of it, then leave the product to dry again.

Since a vase made from threads turns out to be extremely light, it can be weighted with small stones or one large cobblestone, pre-painted to match the vase.

In such a vase you can store jewelry, knitting supplies, and simply use it as an independent decorative item!

Let’s do some handicrafts with you... remember, we have already started getting acquainted with? Let's move on to practice today and look at the papier-mâché thread technique. Let's start by figuring out how to make a cocoon from threads and think about what use it can be found... there are now quite a few different master classes on this topic on the Internet... I will tell you my approach to this type of creativity.

So let's get started...

papier-mâché from threads - how to make a cocoon

In order to make a “cocoon” from threads using the papier-mâché technique, we will need:

  • balloon
  • thread - ordinary sewing thread, but thick (it used to be marked as No. 10, now I don’t know... preferably cotton, (it’s just that cotton paper soaks in glue better), you can take thicker threads, you can even use rope, but then a little The technology for lubricating it with glue will change. Today we will work with a simple thread. However, I used two threads of different thickness (whatever was leftover was used)))
  • needle - long
  • glue. Here I want to say that I use STATIONERY glue (silicate), and not white (pva). Why? Firstly, I was taught this way a long time ago))), and secondly (and this is the main reason) when it hardens, office glue “glazes” and becomes very hard, unlike PVA, which is quite plastic and “soft”, like rubber , and when dry it becomes like rubber...

After we have prepared all the components, we proceed directly to creativity))) we thread the end of the thread from the spool (ball) into the needle and pierce the jar of glue,
pull the thread through the glue, remove the needle
Now we will wrap the ball with thread, slowly pulling it through a jar of glue... The thread itself will be smeared and saturated with glue)))
How many threads do you need? According to your taste and desire))) It took me about two spools... When you decide that there is enough thread, just cut it... if you think that there is not enough glue on the thread, then take a regular brush and brush the glue over the surface of the cocoon, just don’t overdo it ))).

And forget about the craft until tomorrow... let it dry thoroughly)))
The cocoon has dried... it has become hard... take a needle and pierce the ball))). After that, we extract it from the cocoon...
My ball was torn into two parts... I simply pulled the first one out by the “tail”, and to get the second one you either need to find a place where there is a fairly large gap between the threads or just make a hole with scissors. This is the basis of most crafts using the papier-mâché thread technique. That's what they do And any interior crafts, toys....my imagination, as of today, was only enough for a vase))).

How to make a vase from threads

We cut the cocoon into two unequal parts... In principle, these parts can already be adapted into a nest))) for....
or stuff it there)))….

but we will still move on...

and glue these two parts together, only upside down))) Actually, in the papier-mâché thread technique, the parts are supposed to be sewn together with thread, but in this case I need the fastening to be “rigid”, so I used adhesive with a pistol... The result is a vase made of threads...

I couldn’t think of anything smarter than how to cover the resulting vase with spray paint... In my opinion, it turned out quite well)))

There are a thousand ideas for creating original vases. One of them is vases made of balloons. The vase consists of a base and a balloon. As a base, you can take any transparent vessel or stand made of plastic, wire, cardboard or other material. Water is poured into the ball. When the ball starts to shrink, it's time to add it. Thus, the ball has a functional purpose, as well as an aesthetic one, because you can change the balls and choose your favorite colors.

These vases were created by a young guy, a student from SCAD, who received an assignment from his teacher to develop an original and useful product. Following an online vote, Carey Green presented his vases at the International Gift Fair. He liked his idea so much that the vases began to be bought up. An impressive achievement for a guy who turned 21 years old.

Tiny flowers also need matching vases. If you don't have one, then use a balloon and a small glass. These vases were designed by Camila Chic.

To make the glass fit into the ball, select the appropriate sizes of one and the other. Take a large ball, about 30 cm in diameter when inflated, a glass - 5 cm.

Cut off the top of the ball.

Insert the glass into the ball, push the neck inside the glass or leave it sticking out. Make several of these vases from colorful balls.

The best handmade and decorating ideas to implement with your own hands on the website

which we did in one of the previously published instructions. But today we will use a different technique for weaving fabric from ShDM balls. If you make this sculpture from pink balls, then both vases will be exactly the same. In total, you will need about 12 balls for this sculpture. I will use 5 gray and 7 pink balls. I will make horizontal rows from pink balls. And I will make the vertical (connecting) lines from gray balls. At the same time, I want to draw your attention to the fact that in this sculpture there are only 6 vertical (connecting) lines. 5 lines will be gray. And I will make the sixth vertical line from pink balls that I use to make rows. Inflate all five gray (connecting) balls, leaving approximately 15 cm tails (photo 1). Note: In all instructions I use only 260 model balls and indicate only approximate sizes.

Pump up the first pink balloon
leaving approximately 12 cm tail (photo 2).

We will make all the bubbles of one row the same size. We will make the shape of the sculpture by increasing or decreasing the size of the bubbles in the rows in the same way as we do. We start making a vase from the base. We make a chain of the first six pink approximately 5 cm bubbles (photo 3).

We close both ends of the chain of the first 6 pink bubbles into one lock. We made the first row (photo 4). Note: By changing the size of the bubbles in the rows, the number of rows and the number of bubbles in the rows, you can make a variety of sculptures.

Now we need to tie the nozzles of the gray balls between the pink bubbles of the first row (photo 5). As I mentioned earlier, I will use the pink row balls to make the sixth vertical (connecting) line. If you want to make all 6 vertical lines gray then you need to trim the rest of the 1st pink ball. And tie a sixth gray ball in its place.

We will make all connecting bubbles between the rows the same size, approximately 2 cm. We make the 7th pink connecting bubble. I make the bubbles of the second row approximately 8 cm long. Making the 8th pink bubble. We make a connecting bubble of the nearest gray ball (photo 6).

We close the free end of the gray connecting bubble
with the end of the 8th pink bubble (photo 7).

We work all the bubbles of the row moving
in one direction around the sculpture (photo 8).

We close both ends of the second row into one lock (photo 9).
We will make all the sculptures in the same way
only by changing the size of the bubbles in the rows.

If you run out of a pink balloon at any point, then you will need to tie the nozzle of a new pink balloon to the last bubble of the previous pink balloon. You can then trim the rest of the previous ball. Make a connecting bubble (photo 10). In this example, the remainder of the first pink ball is too short for the next bubble. Therefore, I will have to attach the nozzle of the 2nd pink balloon to the free end of the last pink bubble. And then you can cut off the rest of the first pink ball or simply hide it inside the vase - it will even be faster and easier;)

We make bubbles of the third row approximately 11 cm in size (photo 11 - 14).

From this side you can see what this vase looks like
if it is made from balls of the same color (photo 13).

We make bubbles of the 4th row approximately 14 -15 cm long (photo 15). This will be the widest part of my vase. We can already use this sculpture in this form as a basket, bowl, as a hat or even as a skirt.

In the next rows I will reduce the size of the bubbles.
We make bubbles in the fifth row, about 11 cm long (photo 16).

We make bubbles in the sixth row, about 9 cm long (photo 17).

We make bubbles in the seventh row, about 7 cm long (photos 18 and 19).

We make bubbles in the eighth row, about 5 cm long (photo 20).

We make bubbles of the 9th row about 3 - 4 cm long (photo 21).

We make bubbles in the tenth row, about 3 cm long (photos 22 and 23).
This is the narrowest part of the neck of our vase.

Now I will increase the size of the bubbles in the next rows.
We make bubbles in the eleventh row, about 6 - 7 cm long (photo 24).

We make bubbles of the 12th row about 10 - 11 cm long (photo 25). We've done the last row. Now you can trim off the remains of all the balls. Or you can decorate the top and sides of the vase with them. For example, you can attach handles to a vase.

In this example, I will make the 13th row of gray (connecting) balls. We make soft bubbles of the 13th row, about 13 - 14 cm long (photo 26). For convenience, I make one bubble from each gray ball. And from the last gray ball I will make two bubbles.

We cut off the remains of all the balls.
The ends of the balls can be hidden between the bubbles of the sculpture.
This is a top view (photo 27).

This is a view of the vase from below (photo 28).

If we made a vase only from pink balls, it would look (except for the top) exactly like (photo 29).

Below you will see the vase from different sides (photos 30 - 35).
