How to knit a pullover for a boy - description and patterns

We switch to the “Grain” pattern and a fantasy pattern, making in the 1st row. for a) b) c) d) adding 2p. We have 100; 108; 116; 124; 138p. Next, distribute the loops using the description:

a) 13p. – “Grain” (start and end with 1i.), 25p. – diagram No1, 24p. – diagram No2 (from 3rd p. to 26p.), 25p. –

At a height of 18cm (58r.); 20cm (64 rub.); 22cm (70r.); 25.5 cm (82 rub.); 29 cm (94 r.) from the elastic we form armholes, closing on both sides in every 2nd r.: 1 time in 3 p., 2 times in 2 p., 3 times in 1 p. 80 remain; 88; 96; 104; 118p.

At a height of 30cm (96r.); 3cm (108 rub.); 38cm (RUR 122); 43cm (138r.); Close 49cm (158 rubles) from the cut for the shoulder line in every 2nd row:

a) 4 times 6 p.;

To knit this part we use the previous description. The difference is in the deeper neckline. To complete it, knit a pullover for a boy to a height of 19cm (RUR 62); 23cm (RUB 74); 26cm (84 rub.); 31cm (100 rub.); 36cm (116r.) from the elastic band, close the central 22p. and then we knit each side separately.

On the inside of the parts we close:

a) in every 6th p.: 4 times 1 p., every 8 p. 1 time 1 p.;

b) in every 6th p.: 6 times 1 p.;

c) in every 4th row: 4 times 1 p., in every 6th row. 4 times 1 p.;

d) in each 4 p.: 10 times 1 p.;

e) in every 2 p.: 2 times 1 p., in every 4th p. 10 times 1 p.

We draw up the shoulder lines using the description for the back.

Sleeves

Using knitting needles No. 3, cast on 46; 50; 50; 54; 58p. and knit 12p. (4cm) ribs, starting and ending the row with knit 2. We switch to working with knitting needles No. 3.5 and knit the “Grain” pattern, adding 2 loops for a) c) d) e). We get 48; 50; 52; 56; 60p. Next, to expand, add on both sides:

a) in every 10th r. 5 times 1 p.;

b) in every 8th r. 8 times 1 p.;

c) in every 8th r. 5 times 1 p., in every 6th p. 7 times 1 p.;

d) in every 8th r. 8 times 1 p., in every 6th p. 6 times 1 p.;

e) in every 8th r. 5 times 1 p., in every 6th p. 13 times 1 p.

We get 58; 66; 76; 84; 96p.

At a height of 18.5 cm (60 rub.); 23cm (RUB 74); 27.5 cm (88 rub.); 33cm (RUR 106); 39 cm (124 r.) from the elastic band, we form a round, closing on both sides in every 2 r.:

a) 2 times in 3 p., 2 times in 2 p., 2 times in 1 p., 2 times in 2 p., 1 time in 3 p.;

b) 3 times in 3 p., 4 times in 2 p., 2 times in 2 p.;

c) 2 times in 4 p., 2 times in 3 p., 2 times in 2 p., 2 times in 3 p., 1 time in 4 p.;

d) 3 times in 4 p., 4 times in 3 p., 2 times in 4 p.;

e) 2 times in 5 p., 2 times in 4 p., 2 times in 3 p., 1 time in 4 p., 2 times in 5 p.

At a height of 24cm (RUB 78); 28.5 cm (92 rub.); 33cm (RUR 106); 38.5cm (RUR 124); 44.5 cm (142 rubles) from the elastic band we close off the remaining 20 stitches.

We knit the second sleeve in the same way.

Collar

We cast on with knitting needles No. 3 116; 120; 128; 132; 140p. and knit 8 cm (24 r.) elastic bands, starting and ending rows of 3 faces.

To form the base of the collar, close in every 2nd p.: for a) b) 5 times in 4 p.; for c) d) 3 times 4 p.; for e) 1 time in 4 p. and 4 times 5p.

At a height of 10 cm (34 rubles) we close the remaining 76; 80; 84; 88; 92p.

Assembly

We perform shoulder, sleeve and side seams. Sew the sleeves into the armholes. Sew the collar along the neck with an overlay of 22 stitches. front (see photo). Make one buttonhole on the first 4 loops of the collar using a sewing needle. Sew the buttons (see photo) at the level of the collar seam.
