The paper applique “Tree from the palm of your hand” will be interesting for children aged 5-6 years and older. The main “feature” of the application is that the tree trunk is an outlined child’s hand with outstretched fingers – branches. Doing the job is not difficult at all. The main skill required is relatively confident use of scissors. Size finished work determined by the size of the author's hand, but usually fits on an A4 size sheet. Since the composition of the applique itself tends to be square, the sheet can be cut to a size of 19x19 cm. Based on such a palm-trunk, you can create tree appliqués in different time years, changing the color of the crown and background. Since the tree applique is glued onto cardboard at the very end of the work, this makes it possible to make teamwork, collecting all the children’s works on a common sheet. You will get a real magical forest!
For younger children, it may be interesting with triangle trunks and an oval crown.
How to make an applique from paper “Tree from the palm of your hand”
We take paper of a color suitable for the trunk, turn it face down and use a pencil or felt-tip pen to outline the outline of the palm pressed tightly to the sheet. Using scissors, cut the trunk along the marked line.
Glue the barrel onto a square of colored paper larger than the palm of your hand, as shown in the photo.
Cut out the crown with a smooth, free line. You can do this right away, “by eye,” or pre-out it with a pencil.
The palm tree is ready. It must be placed on a cardboard base. We have created an applique of a summer tree, in a lush green outfit. In order to make an applique of an autumn tree, you just need to use yellow, orange or red paper for the crown instead of green.

A winter tree can be made using the cut-off appliqué method. With this technique, we don’t cut out the “snow” on tree branches with scissors, but tear it off with our fingers. This way you can make tree crowns for other seasons.
An applique of a spring tree can be made by not gluing a massive piece of paper, but by cutting out individual leaves. This method is more difficult, but the wood turns out very tender.

Nowadays, many people want to touch their roots and find out whose descendants they are. A family tree usually lists relationships in a specific order. First option

A tree with photographs on the wall can be an interesting way to decorate your home.

When creating such a tree, you can use ready-made tree templates or vinyl stickers. Or you can draw a tree yourself.

For the tree you will need: sticker, frames, photographs, nails, hammer.

To begin with, select the location where the tree will be located. Photos are then selected and printed good quality. If the store does not have the desired sticker, you can order it.

We glue the sticker to the wall and mark the places for the frames on the finished tree. We nail the frames with photographs and admire how the finished family tree fits perfectly into the interior!

This method can easily create a beautiful family tree. In addition, weaving from newspapers is a very exciting activity.

Below is a small master class on crafts made from newspaper tubes.

To make wood you need: newspaper (about seven large format sheets), glue, paints, brush, varnish and thread.

First, roll the newspaper into tubes. For the base you will need 13-15 pieces. They need to be connected together with thread and paper.

We gradually wrap the taped tube around the trunk to the desired height.

Then, for the length of the branch, new tubes are added and wrapped in the same way until there are no more of them left.

Then the tubes are cut to different sizes and the ends are curled.

Now we paint the formed product with a mixture of white paint and glue.

After drying, coat the top with varnish.

Photos are attached to the curlicues. This is how easy it is to make a tree out of paper.

Third way

If there are young children in the family, then you can make a wonderful tree of handprints with them.

To create it you will need: paper, paints, brushes and the palms of the whole family. First we draw the tree trunk, then, starting with the oldest members, we put prints. The smallest hands are at the top of the tree. We sign the prints and the tree is done!

Fourth tree

Family tree using quilling technique.

Required materials: cardboard, quilling paper, colored paper and paper for the background (you can use wallpaper), scissors, a cake lid for the base, glue, paints and photographs.

Draw a circle on cardboard and draw a tree inside it.

We paint the tree and cut it out.

Cover the base with paper or wallpaper and glue the wood onto it.

We make leaves from green quilling paper by rolling it.

We attach the finished leaves to the tree. We cut out grass from green paper and glue it at the roots.

From strips of yellow, red and blue paper we roll up blanks for flowers and butterflies.

Use your fingers to give the red circles a drop shape and glue them together.

The blue blanks will make a flower, so we give them the shape of eyes and glue them together.

We glue the butterfly from yellow circles in the shape of a crescent.

We glue flowers, butterflies and photos to the product.

Fifth option

A family tree made of beads looks very beautiful. It will decorate any home.

This tree would be a great wedding gift. Or you can make it a themed 30th anniversary gift by adding pearls.

For production you will need:

pearl beads;
beads white;
wire of different thicknesses;
leaves - sequins;
scissors, wire cutters and pliers;
coins;
stone for the base of the tree;
floral tape and masking tape;
acrylic paints: bronze, brown, varnish;
gold glitter;
wood slices;
photos.

First, we decide on the location of the photographs on the tree. Then we create its detailed diagram.

For the future tree we make branches from thin wire and pearl beads, as shown in the pictures.

After 1-2 cm, we put a loop of white beads on one end of the wire.

We also repeat from both ends of the wire.

Add a leaf and form a branch.

We connect three such branches into one thick branch and weave the number of branches required for the volume.

We braid the branches with thick wire and floral tape.

We form a tree trunk from very thick wire that does not bend easily and attach it to the stone.

Making applique is quite an interesting and exciting activity. Usually all the kids love to do it. Applications in kindergarten quite diverse, including from the palms. Almost every child will be happy to do such an activity, because children really love to trace their pens on paper. Also, such activities develop fantasy and imagination. You need to take an A4 sheet of paper and draw a Hedgehog on it. After the base is ready, you need to trace the palm several times on colored paper and cut it out. Thus, the fingers will be so-called needles. A hedgehog can be either an ordinary forest hedgehog or a fairy-tale hedgehog with multi-colored needles. Now you need to carefully glue the palms. Let the fake dry. This is how easy it is to make an applique of palms in the shape of a hedgehog.

Making a swan

Materials needed to create an applique: paper, cardboard, glue, scissors, pencil.

To get started, you need to take cardboard and draw a swan figure on it. Next you need to cut out the swan. Since the swan is white, both the cardboard and paper will need to be white.

Take a piece of paper, trace the child’s palm with a pencil and cut it out. You will need a lot of these palms depending on the size of the bird.

Let's move on to the most important thing, you need to carefully glue the finished palms in several rows.

You can choose different topics for your work. So, for example, a teacher, while walking with children, can be inspired by the atmosphere of autumn, and, coming to the group, invite the kids to make an applique from children's handprints on the theme of an autumn tree.

To create the work you will need: paper or cardboard for the base; colored paper, colored pencils, glue, scissors.

The first stage of work is the base. On this basis, we draw the background and trunk of the future tree with colored pencils.

Then take paper, trace the palms on it and cut them out. If the children are small, the teacher will have to cut out their palms. Now we begin to carefully glue our palms to the tree trunk.
