Currently, there is an urgent question about improving the work to improve the health, development of movements and physical development of children. The main task is to raise a healthy, strong, cheerful person.Problem: disinterest of parents in organizing children’s physical activity, lack of parental knowledge about children’s physical skills and abilities of this age and parents' inattention to the healthy lifestyle of children in the family.

To implement this direction - maintaining and strengthening one’s health, the project “We want to be healthy” was developed.

Analyzing the work done, we can draw the following conclusions:

The project topic was chosen taking into account age characteristics middle school children preschool age and the amount of information that can be perceived by them, which had a positive impact on various types of their activities (game, cognitive, artistic-speech, musical-game).

The work on the project topic turned out to be informative. Children learned with interest about vitamins and their importance in human life. Children's ideas about a healthy lifestyle have been formed, and their knowledge about ways to strengthen and maintain their health has been expanded. By creating playful problem situations, teachers encouraged children to use acquired knowledge and apply it to solve the problem, and then consolidate it through playful and creative activities.

Parents became the main assistants in the project. Parents read the proposed information material with interest. Most of the parents actively took part in the photo exhibition “The Most Athletic Family.”

The project made it possible to arouse in parents a desire to cooperate with teachers, to involve them in participating in life kindergarten. And also, thanks to the project, parents competently addressed the issues of proper nutrition and education of a healthy lifestyle in their children.

The “We Want to Be Healthy” project solved the problem and achieved its goals.Joint work on improving the health of children led to the fact that the incidence of illness in the group decreased, the level of physical fitness of children increased, and the need for leading a healthy lifestyle arose.
