Ideas for the New Year

New Year according to the library:Fairytale mail from Santa Claus

Project “Fairytale Mail from Santa Claus” was first implemented Omsk municipal libraries in 2010 The idea is to give children the opportunity congratulate the main New Year's wizard on the New Year. Letters were accepted in all 46 municipal libraries and on the website of the Central City Library of Omsk. In response, specialists from the development and external communications department of the Central City Hospital wrote letters of congratulations on behalf of Santa Claus. Financial support was provided by the Omsk mayor's office, therefore, despite the costs associated with the production of forms and envelopes, and the purchase of stamps, letters were sent to the addressees absolutely free of charge. " Fairytale mail from Santa Claus"is psychological assistance, a creative project, and a PR project (the popularity of the Omsk New Year's mail has gone far beyond the region, traffic to the web representation has increased 1.5 times). This is also a social project. Many letters came from adults with questions about employment, purchasing housing, military service, and city programs. Along with the New Year's wishes, recipients were sent detailed information about where and how they can get professional help. More details: Sippel N. O. Fairytale mail of Santa Claus / N. O. Christmas tree branches are cut out of green paper along the contour of the palm. New Year's promotion has started December 1 and lasted until the New Year. Within a month, the tree grew to an unprecedented size. It was not toys that decorated it, but kind words addressed to the library, book reviews and recommendations. read your favorite works. And in library No. 7 of the Central Library System of Arzamas in "Month of Book Surprises" We decorated a New Year tree from readers’ palms cut out of green paper with wishes for the library. Readers really liked this idea. The librarians “heard” many kind words and wishes from parents and children.

Poems about the New Year

Is New Year falling from the sky?

Or is it coming from the forest?

Or from a snowdrift

New Year is coming out?

He probably lived like a snowflake

On some star

Or was he hiding behind a piece of fluff?

Frost in his beard...

Maybe he got into the refrigerator

Or to a squirrel in a hollow,

Or an old alarm clock

Did he get under the glass?

But there is always a miracle:

The clock strikes twelve -

And from nowhere

New Year is coming to us!

New Year

Spruce branch

Back to the fairy tale

Beckons us.

It happens in the world,

That only once a year

They light up the Christmas tree

A beautiful star.

The star burns, does not melt,

Beautiful ice glitters.

And it comes right away

Happy New Year!

New Year is a holiday with fluffy snow outside the window, the smell of fir branches, the sparkle of multi-colored toys and tinsel, obligatory fireworks, gifts, as well as with a smart Santa Claus and the beautiful Snow Maiden. The book exhibition “In the Snowy Kingdom, Frosty State,” organized in the rural library of the village, will help you plunge into the magical atmosphere of the holiday. Lights. It presents books of poems, fairy tales, both classical writers and modern authors.

Books of crafts will help you decorate your home and have a fun holiday. And by answering the quiz questions and solving winter crossword puzzles, you can already earn sweet prizes.

Our readers: children, grandmothers, mothers, fathers, helped decorate the library for the New Year by taking part in a crafts competition.

Children love to spend their free time in the library. They read books from the exhibition, learn about the history of the holiday, Santa Claus, and then draw winter pictures. Come visit our library, you won't regret it.

As the well-known K.S. said to everyone. Stanislavsky: “The theater begins with a coat rack,” so our exhibition begins with funny snowmen who attract attention to the entrance to the library. You approach them, and your gaze falls on the decorated library room. Now you're already inside!

“New Year's Book Town” is the name of the exhibition. Why “Knigograd”?! I answer. The reader may have his own version on this matter. Or Knigograd is a city. Every library can rightfully be called a book city. Where else can you find such an abundance of book publications? Since the exhibition is dedicated to the New Year, hence the “New Year’s Book Town”. Another version of the name is “city of books”, i.e. an abundance of books dedicated to the New Year.

The exhibition is presented in six sections. The first one is called “Winter through the eyes of Sakhalin residents.” This section presents books by Sakhalin writers, poets and photographs of Sakhalin nature. Each book contains a bookmark in the form of an unfolded scroll. On it is written the beginning of a poem or an excerpt from a story dedicated to the New Year, winter, and the page number on which the reader can finish reading the work he liked.

The second section is “Winter Sings and Sounds.” These are well-known lines from a poem by Sergei Yesenin, which means that this section is devoted to the theme of the New Year and winter in the works of Russian classics. Each book also includes bookmarks.

The third section is “Winter in Pictures.” Here are books with paintings by Ivan Shishkin “Winter”, “In the Wild North” and the famous Sakhalin artist Givi Mantkava “Winter Fishing”.

The fourth section is “New Year in the detective genre.” Anything can happen in the New Year, even a detective story. The section presents stories by such writers as Daria Dontsova “A Real Christmas Tale”, “Father Snow and Frost”, Galina Kulikova “Christmas in Russian”, Tatyana Polyakova “New Year’s Tale”.

The fifth section is “Fairy-tale world - New Year”. Can there be a New Year without fairy tales? Of course not! This section will give young readers a wonderful selection of fabulous New Year's stories.

And the final section of the Sixth - “Be ready for the new year!” It presents magazines in which readers can find interesting culinary recipes for the New Year's table, patterns for New Year's costumes, original gift ideas and much more that will be needed to prepare and celebrate the holiday.

In addition to books and magazines, the exhibition presents crafts in the form of 3D Christmas trees cut out of paper, and knitted New Year's toys.

I invite everyone to visit our exhibition!

Petropavlovskoe

I am a cheerful snowman, sometimes I am small, sometimes I am big.

Blizzards help me and make snowdrifts,

And then friends, girlfriends, forgetting their toys at home,

They roll them around the yard - everyone joins in the game.

Com one, two and three - how happy the children are!

Apparently I’m very good - I look like the Snow Maiden.

Every day children come running to me in the morning.

They lead a round dance and so on - every year!

It’s like a Christmas tree in the center, with me and my friends around.

Stand up children, stand in a circle,

The snowman is your best friend!

Finally winter came, transforming the world with its cold, frosty and sparkling silver breath. Now everything around looks like a white fairy tale. But what is a fairy tale without fairy-tale heroes? Of course, snow heroes also appear in our fairy-tale reality, the main one being the good snowman. Snowmen fill courtyards and streets, stand on the threshold of schools and kindergartens, shops and even business centers, because not only children, but also adults want a piece of a fairy tale. And how good and light your soul becomes when a snow-white snowman meets you on the threshold, with a beautiful scarf and a bent bucket on his head - isn’t this happiness, isn’t this an incentive to complete the work faster, so that when leaving the building, you can meet this fairy-tale man again, so tell him: “See you tomorrow.” And since adults love the snowman so much, what can we say about children - they simply adore him, considering him one of the main symbols of winter, of course after Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, no one has yet surpassed them in popularity and expectation.

The snowman is one of our favorite New Year's characters. Wonderful children's fairy tales are dedicated to snowmen. Do you know what adventures happened to the Snowmen? What and how are snowmen made from? What did the first snowmen look like? You are about to find out these and many other questions! Interesting? Then let's quickly go on a book walk with the Snowman!

Rybatskoe

The Fisherman's Library greets its readers in festive New Year's green decorations. The exhibition “Winter and Summer in One Color” offers books not about the New Year holiday at all, but with covers as green as a tree. The exhibition consists of three sections: what should have been read in the outgoing 2015 Literature (Pushkin, Shakespeare), what we invite our readers to read in the new 2016 Cinema (film novels, plays) and what would be good to read in general. And of course, an elegant, beautiful Christmas tree, decorated with books, greets young readers.

O.I. Bogatyreva, head of the rural library in the village of Rybatskoye

Taranay

The New Year is approaching every day! The most fabulous and magical holiday! The Taranai Rural Library also tries to give its dear readers a festive New Year's mood. The festive atmosphere is perfectly complemented by book exhibitions.

At the exhibition “A Fairy Tale is Knocking on the House” in the “New Year’s Trouble” section, a whole collection of magazines will become the best assistants for readers in preparing mouth-watering dishes and tips for decorating the New Year’s table. A selection of magazines will help you uniquely decorate your home and decorate your Christmas tree.

Books and magazines in the “Santa Claus Workshop” section will tell you how to make exclusive and original gifts and souvenirs with your own hands from all kinds of materials.

Winter means, of course, skis, skates, and sleds, but in the evening there are always good winter fairy tales, which we offer in the “Winter Fantasy” section. Here are wonderful winter stories and books that reveal the secrets of Father Frost and his beloved granddaughter.

Do you know what unites such different literary heroes as Mikhail Bulgakov's Woland and Prosper Merimee's Carmen, Scarlett from Margaret Mitchell's novel Gone with the Wind and D'Artagnan from Alexandre Dumas's The Three Musketeers? The unusual book exhibition “Literary Horoscope” will help you get answers to these questions. It would seem, what new can we learn about the characters of well-known and beloved books: Sherlock Holmes, Nastasya Filippovna, Romeo, Margarita and many others? It turns out that this is possible if you look at literary heroes from the point of view of astrology. Each person decides for himself how much astrology deserves his trust. It should be treated with humor or taken seriously. In any case, our funny “Literary Horoscope” will definitely awaken in you the desire to re-read wonderful books, again plunge into the whirlpool of events and, of course, give serious food for thought.

According to the eastern horoscope, the New Year 2016 will be held under the symbol of the monkey. This cheerful and nimble heroine appears in many works. And our monkey, with his bunch of bananas with questions, invites children to take part in the “Monkey Quiz”.

Master classes in the library workshop “Crafting with a Snowman” are successfully held. The children are mastering the technique of volumetric quilling on the theme “Snowflakes”.

We invite you to visit our New Year's exhibition and wish you a Happy New Year and Christmas!

N. A. Temeneva, head of the village library. Taranay

Trinity

Each library celebrates the New Year in its own way. So the Trinity Rural Library approached creatively the design of the book kingdom. Fairy-tale windows with illustrations of magical snow deer, Santa Claus's faithful assistants, will undoubtedly lure you to visit us. New Year's chimes will immerse adults in the alluring, sweet, kind world of childhood, and kids will rejoice and have fun in the company of Cinderella, Marfushenka, Emelya, the Wolf and the Hare from “Well, Just Wait” and other wonderful characters from fairy tales and cartoons.

We tried to help our readers and selected a whole collection of literature about this wonderful holiday, not only about its traditions, fairy tales associated with it, but also tips on decorating the house and the New Year's table. And the kids prepared a wonderful, stunning exhibition “Santa Claus’s Workshop”, which presented a parade of New Year trees, a fabulous Grandfather Frost, a fashionable old man forester, a sweet couple of snowmen and other heroes.

Come visit us, plunge into the world of a fairy tale, remember that goodness is eternal. Give yourself a moment of positivity, and the New Year will delight you!

New Year for children is a magical fairy tale, a time when dreams come true and incredible events happen. This is one of our favorite holidays with fluffy white snow outside the window, the smell of spruce needles, the sparkle of colorful toys and tinsel and, of course, New Year's gifts. New Year is a long-awaited holiday for everyone, especially for children. Librarians annually hold New Year's events for children and adults. Every year at the end of December, everything here already “breathes” with holiday. This year, the library has a surprise exhibition “Journey to a Winter Wonderland...”, where you can find useful tips on how to celebrate the New Year. On January 5, a New Year's party was held in the department of services for children under 14 years of age. Having solved the winter riddles, the children broke the spell of the evil wizard and freed Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. Winter fun: “Snowballs”, “Santa Claus’s Staff”, the quiz “What Doesn’t Happen on a Christmas Tree”, “Snow Carousel” gave the children a festive mood. Boys and girls happily danced around the Christmas tree, danced the “Dance of the Little Ducklings,” sang songs, and read poems. At the end of the holiday, the kids received a sweet surprise from Santa Claus. Librarians try to justify the trust of children, so the matinee scripts are always distinguished by memorable ideas and interesting surprises. The most unimaginable characters come to the children's holiday: Baba Yaga, Kikimora, Leshy, but two of them are obligatory guests. And, of course, this is Father Frost and Snow Maiden! Do you know in what year the inseparable couple of Father Frost and Snow Maiden appeared for the first time? We asked such quiz questions not only to children, but also to their mothers, fathers, grandparents. And they appeared together in 1937. Since then, they have not left New Year's parties. By the way, Father Frost's birthday is celebrated on November 18th. He already has three houses in Russia: in Arkhangelsk, in the Chunozersk estate, in Veliky Ustyug. And the first mention of the “master of the New Year” as Father Frost refers to the “Tales of Grandfather Irenaeus” by the Russian writer V.F. Odoevsky. The Snow Maiden became popular thanks to the fairy tale by A. Ostrovsky, although her name as an ice mermaid had appeared before. Interestingly, at the beginning of the Soviet period, the Snow Maiden was forbidden to appear on New Year's holidays - this ban was lifted only in 1935. At first she was the daughter of the main character, and then she became the granddaughter. The children's party "New Year's Magic in the Library" would not have been complete without Father Frost and his granddaughter Snegurochka. They came to congratulate the kids and their parents on the New Year and present gifts to the most active participants of the holiday. The children met fairy-tale characters from many interesting children's books, answered questions in competitions and quizzes, and of course received prizes, which were gladly presented to the children by Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. The matinee ended with the presentation of gifts, there were no indifferent or bored people, everyone was having fun and interesting. The library staff wishes all readers peace, prosperity and encounters with new interesting books and periodicals in the New Year. The library doors are always open to those who are friends with books! Happy new year friends! New magic in the New Year!
