Candy clock

Wonderful handmade craft - New Year's clock from sweets. This makes a great edible gift.

Cut out two identical circles from cardboard. Diameter 9 cm. We retreat 2 cm from the edge and cut them evenly along the chord. This way future watches will be stable.

We measure the circumference of the circle and cut out a strip of cardboard that is as long as the measured circumference and 3 cm wide.

Using masking tape, we connect the strip sidewall and circles together.

Let's make a second blank for the watch. It measures 16.5 cm by 8 cm. We round the edges arbitrarily, but you can use a compass. By analogy with the first blank, we cut out a side panel 4 cm wide. We connect everything using masking tape.

This is what it will look like when assembled.

Trying on two watch halves

Let's start decorating our New Year's watch. Print out the New Year's dial. Its radius must be equal to the radius of the workpiece. But you need to cut it 2-3 cm more so that you can wrap the workpiece.

Watch face

For reverse side cut out the New Year's background.

Using a glue gun, glue the circles to the workpiece.

We glue the sidewall corrugated paper. Its width should be 0.5 cm greater than the thickness of our New Year's clock.

We cover the perimeter of the craft with Bird's Milk candies, starting with the number 12 on the dial. This is necessary for symmetry.

candies on the side of the watch

We wrap the candies with ribbon.

To the top, simulating the ringing of an alarm clock, glue either two candies in beautiful packaging, or two small gift boxes. We make a small bow from ribbon and glue it next to one of the gifts.

Now let's move on to the bottom of the clock. We take corrugated paper and paste over our watch base blank. Don't forget about allowances!

Now you need to design the sidewall. Corrugated paper of a different color is suitable for this. For example, silver. But you can use any one. Cover the side with tape.

On top of the silver ribbon we glue any beautiful ribbon New Year theme.

We glue the clock to the base and decorate it with Christmas tree branches and New Year's toys.

We make the hands and our New Year's candy clock is ready. Now they have become a wonderful gift.

If you liked the material, share it with your friends, and we wish you all the best! Do it with your loved ones and dear people crafts and give them as gifts.

Soon New Year, a holiday of joy, fun, gifts. It varies from person to person, but for me it is associated with the Christmas tree, New Year’s toys, the chimes, and tangerines. And I really want to turn back time and go back to my carefree childhood. I suggest you please yourself and your children a little by making a New Year's clock with your own hands, but not a simple one, as they say in the fairy tale, but from candies.

For New Year's watches we will need:
- penoplex (you can use polystyrene foam or polystyrene);
-any picture of a clock you like;
-12 squares, individually sealed chocolate bars;
-corrugated paper golden color;
-scissors with paper;
- silicone thermal gun;
-ribbon.

Don't forget about the pre-holiday mood.

DIY New Year's watch made from candies: master class

1. We cut out a circle with a diameter of 12 cm from penoplex and a circle of 20 cm from corrugated paper.

2. Apply glue to the penoplex using a heat gun and fix it in the middle with golden corrugated paper turned on the wrong side.

3. Using scissors, we make cuts of the same size along the entire perimeter of the paper to the base.

4. We apply a little glue to each cut piece and attach them to our base.

5. After we glue the foam plastic, we take the picture that we like and also glue it to the base.

6. The next thing we will do is attach the candy to the clock. Apply a little glue in the center of the candy and attach it to the base. So, let's make a circle, one candy after the other.

7. Let’s take the previously prepared tape and use it once again to secure the candies evenly and beautifully (measure the tape of the required diameter, take a little extra, cut it and attach it with glue in the center of the candies.)

8. If you wish, you can attach the arrows to the dial. You can add rain and some small New Year's toys.

You can make such New Year's watches more than once, and take them with you when you go to visit friends to celebrate the New Year, so that they too will plunge into the atmosphere of childhood.

Let the DIY New Year's clock craft give you a great mood for the New Year

Maybe you have been given homemade gifts more than once in your life and a smile of happiness shone on your face. But how much more pleasant it is to give gifts yourself! As they say, “there is greater happiness in giving than in receiving.” Therefore, below you will be presented with a master class on creating sweet watches from candies, try to show your creativity to the maximum.

Sweet gift for the kitchen

Do not worry! Any beginner can make such a watch. The main thing is to put in a little patience, effort and a lot of love.

We need to prepare:

  • jar or box;
  • corrugated paper;
  • braid;
  • candies;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • clockwork.

For this tutorial we will use a candy jar. Let's take care of the lid first. You need to make a small hole in the very center of the lid.

Insert or glue the clock mechanism.

Choose the color of the corrugation, trace the lid, cut and glue.

We decorate the pediment with braid and glue it.

You still have the right to choose the dial. We suggest decorating as follows:

Beads can be glued around the perimeter of the lid. It looks very beautiful!

Helpful tip: glue beads to the dial itself. This way the watch can look more festive.

Cover the jar itself with corrugated paper as shown in the photo.

Now the edges of the corrugation need to be folded and sealed.

Then the best part - gluing the candies.

The next photo shows that the candies are glued. However, it is not necessary to use glue. You can replace it with tape or tie them with a ribbon and make a bow. Then this watch will definitely look festive.

As you can see, the jar is round, and because of this it is unstable. This can be easily fixed. Let's take a box and cover it with the same paper as the watch itself. The box will serve as a stand for us.

Don't throw away any remaining tape. Use them for a stand.

Now it's time to insert batteries into the watch. Also put some delicious gifts in the jar and glue the watch to the stand.

Decorate your watch to your liking. You can use the following option.

To make a stylish gift for the New Year with your own hands, you just need to find a suitable master class and a little free time. We offer detailed instructions, not only with a description, but also with a photo of how to make a New Year's watch with a surprise. The surprise, of course, will be sweet, and the work does not require much time and all available inexpensive materials.

Separately, it is worth noting that among all the master classes, this one stands out not only for its simplicity, but also for its symbolism. On New Year's Day we spend, at its core, just time. Therefore, a description of how to turn time into something sweet and memorable is, of course, the day before winter holidays will be useful.

What you will need for work:

* Empty round box of sweets or cookies (see photo).
* Corrugated paper.
* Braid, candy, scissors and glue.
* Clock mechanism (if desired, the clock mechanism can only be decorative, but it is better, of course, for the clock to run).

Making a watch for the New Year with your own hands begins with the design of the cover. If you have a clock mechanism, then attaching it will be as easy as pie, just making a hole in the lid. Now insert and glue the mechanism, and the battery can be inserted into it after the craft is ready.

Take colored paper and trace around the lid, cut and glue. Carefully seal the rim of the lid with paper. Now the end is decorated with braid, glue it. The dial can be made in different ways, or you can simply glue the tape. Add beads and you can start decorating the jar itself. Here paper is also used, its edges are folded and glued inside. Decorate with candies as shown in the picture.

Our New Year's candy clock is almost ready. To stand a round jar, take a flat rectangular box, cover it with paper and decorate it with braid. Now insert the battery into the clock mechanism, and put sweets and other surprises into the jar itself. Connect the stand with the clock, carefully glue everything together. Download for free.

This is how a clock is made from candies for the New Year, master class step by step. We hope you can use your imagination to the maximum to make the most various options hours and in terms of color design, and in terms of additional unique decor. Happy holidays, may there be many gifts, may the New Year bring only bright moments and positive thoughts.

As you can see, even after the New Year (especially), you can actively engage in creativity. Because such watches are made from boxes of different sizes and shapes. You shouldn’t throw away empty boxes, but rather save them for quiet and free time, buy a lot of buttons and beads, ribbons, and then, inspired by photos and master classes, start creating your first sweet watch.
