- We take a glue gun and use it to connect the parts. Inside the craft, you need to leave a hole for the trigger.
- Using tape, we strengthen the workpiece and paint it black. We wait until the craft is completely dry and glue our cut out color pattern.
- Next, we make an incision on the surface. We attach an elastic band to it, cut out a trigger from cardboard, and fix the elastic band on the trigger mechanism with the second edge of the elastic band. So our famous pistol from the game is ready.

- Fold each sheet horizontally into four layers, moving as if you were rolling a tube. The second sheet should be slightly wider than the first.
- Bend one piece in half.
- Fold the wide piece into a loop and pass the previously folded tube through it.
- All that remains is to lightly glue the craft and install a sight on the barrel.
The principle of making a figure (from two halves) is similar to that used in the Shuriken craft. You don't have to use glue to connect the parts, but it is best to use it to make the toy more resistant to wear. You can paint the trunk or completely wrap it with tape.
Gun
Based on the described principle, you can make a double-barreled gun. Step-by-step instruction for its manufacture:
- Roll two sheets (long and half as long) into tubes.
- Fold both pieces in half.
- Bend the free edges at a slight angle.
- All you have to do is thread the pieces through to connect them. In this case, direct the angle on the short workpiece downwards, and on the long workpiece – upwards.
You don't need tape or glue to hold the pieces together. Iron the corners well so that the barrel of the gun does not move apart. The tube for the barrel (a long piece) can be twisted rather than folded. Then the toy will be voluminous, and the weapon will look more like a real one.
If you use rolling, make the craft from colored paper (black for the barrel, brown for the handle). In this case, it is rational to glue the parts of the trunk together.
Revolver
For this gun model you will need several thick sheets of paper, tape and glue. It is impossible to do without these materials, otherwise the craft will fall apart.
Manufacturing instructions:
- Roll the tube into 4-5 layers for the handle.
- Fold it in half.
- Bend the free edges of the workpiece at an obtuse angle.
- Fold a small piece of paper into quarters.
- Wrap it around the resulting handle to tighten it.
- Insert the ends of the tape one into the other.
- Roll two tubes of cardboard or thick paper. One should be almost half the length of the other.
- Insert them into the resulting pocket of the handle so that the end of the tubes is under the tape.
Glue the tubes to the handle, otherwise they may fly out during active games. Replace the tape surrounding the revolver with tape. If you want to replace the drum with duct tape or tape, tape the edges to prevent the tape from coming loose. This model is best made from multi-colored sheets.
In office supply stores you can find materials with a metallic color that are well suited for making weapons. Using colored paper allows you to speed up the production of crafts.
Shooting models
It will take a little more time to complete the paper origami “Gun” that shoots. You will need thin cardboard, scissors, tape, and a rubber band for it.
Make a shooting model according to the instructions:
- Fold a standard A4 sheet in half and cut along the marked line.
- Fold each half horizontally to form narrow rectangles. Unfold the sheet.
- Fold the edges of the sheet to the intended fold.
- Fold the workpiece along the center line. You will receive a narrow strip consisting of 4 layers of paper.
- On the second half of the A4 sheet, mark a central vertical fold.
- Bend the ends of the rectangle at an angle of 90 degrees.
- Bend the edges of the figure inward at an acute angle.
- For the handle, fold the resulting triangle in half. Then roll the workpiece so that it resembles Latin letter L.
- Connect the pieces at an obtuse angle. To do this, slightly expand the handle and insert a strip of paper through the holes.
- Secure the model with paper clips and pull the tab from below to create a trigger.
- Carefully cut out a small triangle above the handle. It should be the same size as the groove located on the top of the trunk.
- At the front edge of the barrel, make a notch for the elastic.
- Pull the elastic so that it covers the entire model - from the front edge of the barrel to the handle. When you press the trigger, the model will begin to operate - the elastic band will be released.
If you take writing or other thin paper, then even when folded in several layers the craft will turn out too soft. Thin paper models are deformed by the compressive action of the rubber band, and they quickly become unusable. Craftsmen recommend using thin cardboard or thick paper for scrapbooking.
The bullet will be replaced by a ball of paper. This pistol model will satisfy boys' passion for shooting, but will make this activity absolutely safe. The paper balls will not damage glass or other fragile objects in the house, and the children themselves will not be left with bruises.
The shooter is activated by a rubber band, which must be pulled back so that it hits the ball. The advantage of the toy is that you don’t have to spend money on bullets. additional funds: These can be made from any draft. Each child will be able to modify the model for themselves so that it is realistic. To do this, he can decorate it with appliqués or paint it using his imagination.
Such a pistol can shoot small balls and paper. With such a pistol you can compete with your friends in accuracy and shooting range. This pistol shoots from 6 to 13 meters in length, it all depends on how carefully you make it and how powerful the elastic band is.
And so for it we need:

So first you need to make the tubes (for me this is the longest process)
Starting from one of the corners of a sheet of paper you need to twist a tube like this, at first it may seem difficult but then it will be easier
Now you need to make a larger tube; to do this, wrap a sheet of paper onto the first tube:
In total, we will need 2 thin tubes and 3 thick ones made from A4 sheets.
We measure 7 cm on a thick tube and cut 5 identical pieces
Then we glue it together, this will be the handle of our gun:

Now let's start making the trigger mechanism, namely the "trigger"
We take a thin tube, insert it into the upper tube of the handle so that it extends 1-2 times beyond the edge, mark the place of the bend and bend the tube:

We insert a thin tube into the “trunk” of our paper gun and glue the ends of the balls at a distance of 5-10 cm from the end of the “trunk” and secure with electrical tape:

Steps
Paper tube gun
- The thickness of the paper tube should resemble a pencil. If you find it difficult to roll the paper into such a thin tube, you can use a pencil or pen as a template. Just take a pencil and curl the paper around it.

Twist a second sheet of paper around the first tube. To make the gun, take a second piece of paper and wrap it around the first. This will give you a larger diameter paper tube to shoot from. After twisting the second tube, carefully remove the first one from it. So, you have a second hollow paper cylinder, thicker than the first.
Secure the paper tube with a strip of tape. Twist the tube and secure it with tape. Cover the tube with strips of tape on both ends so that the paper does not unwind. After this, trim the uneven edges of the tube with scissors. It is necessary that the tube has straight and smooth edges, without protruding pieces of paper.
Twist two more of the same tubes, then cut them to obtain tubes with the lengths shown below. Take two more sheets of paper and twist them around the template as you did with the previous sheet. After this, using scissors, a ruler and a marker, mark and cut the resulting tubes into several pieces of the following length:
- Trunk: you will need two tubes 15 cm long.
- Lever: you will need seven tubes, each 5 cm long.
- Trigger: You will need one tube 8 cm long.

Make a handle by gluing all the 5 cm tubes together with heated glue so that they are positioned slightly obliquely. Place the short tubes one on top of the other, moving them at a slight angle (to resemble the handle of a real pistol, move each tube slightly to the right compared to the adjacent tube above it). Glue the tubes folded in this way with heated glue, thereby obtaining a long handle.
Glue an 8 cm tube to the top of the resulting handle so that the extra 3 centimeters protrudes above the handle to the right. This tube should protrude from the back of the handle. In other words, if you are holding the pistol ready to fire, the extra 3 centimeters should be facing you. This will be the trigger of your gun.
Glue two long, 6-inch tubes together and attach them to the top of the gun. This will be its barrel, so you should glue them so that they protrude above the front of the handle. Align the back edge of the barrel with the center of the handle and glue it to it.
Roll two thinner tubes out of paper. This time there is no need to ensure that there is a gap inside the tubes. Roll the paper (it's good if it differs in color from the previous sheets) into cylindrical tubes, a little thinner than the ones you made earlier. The diameter of these tubes should be such that they fit into the previous tubes. To achieve this, curl them without a template. To reduce their thickness, you should not twist the paper to the end, cutting off the last 10-13 centimeters diagonally of the sheet.
Bend a thin tube in the shape of the Latin letter “U” and insert one end of this tube into the trigger, and the other into the upper tube of the pistol grip. Trim the too long edges of the thin tube so that it protrudes only 6 millimeters from the trigger and does not protrude from the rear of the barrel at all. The bend of the letter “U” should be located on the side of the trunk. This will be your trigger, which when pulled will cause the tube to protrude from the rear edge of the gun's hammer.
- Make sure the thin tube slides back and forth freely. After all, this is the trigger, when pressed, it fires.

If desired, you can make a trigger guard using another thin paper tube. Bend this tube into an “S” shape, flattening the bent sections if necessary. After this, place one free end of the tube into the handle (in the second tube from above, below the trigger), and glue the second with heated glue to the bottom of the barrel. Trim the tube if it protrudes in front of the gun barrel.
Flatten a thin paper tube with your fingers and seal the back of the handle with it. This tube should be flattened so that it forms a long, thin rectangular strip. After that, glue it with heated glue to the back of the handle, bend it forward under the handle and circle it around the trigger guard (if you made one). This is necessary in order to close all the holes in the handle, especially in its top tube, just below the trigger.
- NOT close the rear hole in the trigger. It must be kept open to allow free movement of the trigger when firing.
- And finally, you will frame the bottom of the gun - for this it is also better to use paper of a different color.

Remove the spring from the old handle and insert it into the upper handle tube. Pull the trigger out of this tube and insert the spring into it. In this case, the spring should rest against the tube covering the back of the handle, compressing slightly when the trigger is pressed. The spring will serve to push the trigger back after firing.
Make a trigger mechanism out of paper and rubber bands. Fold a piece of craft paper in half so that you have a long, narrow strip. Roll this strip into a thin, tight tube. Tape the edges of the tube to prevent the paper from unraveling, and trim them so they are straight. You will end up with a long thin paper tube. Then...
Insert a thin tube into the down tube of the gun barrel. Trim the rubber-free end of the thin tube so that it does not protrude from the front of the gun barrel.
Pull the elastic forward, hooking it between the two tubes. At the same time, make sure that the back of the thin tube with the rubber band still protrudes from the barrel. When you press the trigger, it extends from the rear of the trigger, pushes a short hook to the side, as a result, the elastic band pulls a thin tube forward along the barrel, and it pushes the bullet out.
Load the gun with a paper bullet and fire it. Now that the gun is ready, you can fire it. Roll bullets from small pieces of craft paper. Cock the hammer by pulling the elastic tube back and hooking it with the short hook onto the rear edge of the hammer. Place the bullet into the barrel from the front side opposite the handle and trigger. Pull the trigger. At the same time, it will extend from behind the trigger, pushing the hook off it, the tube will be released and, under the action of the elastic band, will move forward, pushing the bullet out of the barrel.
Origami gun

Prepare two long thin strips of craft paper. For the origami gun you will need two sheets of paper. Take a large rectangular piece of craft paper. Fold it in half and cut it into two smaller, wider rectangles. Then fold each of these rectangular sheets as follows:
Bend one of the strips into a horseshoe shape. Take one of the two strips of paper and fold it in the middle. Then bend the strip back. You will get a fold in the middle of the strip. Grasp the right end of the strip and bend it at a 90 degree angle. Then do the same with the left half. As a result, you will get a shape that resembles a small paper horseshoe.
- The central part of the horseshoe should be approximately half as long as each side segment. To do this, place a second, straight strip in the center of the first and bend the edges of the first strip around it.

Bend the edges of the horseshoe again at an acute angle inward. Leaving the folds in the same place, fold the edges so that you get a shape that resembles a teardrop with straight edges and sharp corners. In the center you will get a regular triangle. As strange as it may sound at this stage, you have just made the trigger and trigger mechanism of the future pistol.
Fold the resulting triangle in half and put the halves together so that you get the “handle” of the gun. You will end up with a shape that resembles the lowercase Latin letter “L”, with slight bevels along the edges. It will be necessary to bend the second strip of paper in half.
Thread the edges of the second strip of paper through the holes in the handle of the first strip. This is a difficult stage, so be careful. Take the second strip and fold it in half. After this, insert its edges into the handle:
Fit the strips so that the gun has a trigger, then staple the barrel and handle to each other, securing them. Now you should be able to guess the outline of your pistol. When you do this, you will see a small fold of paper protruding from the bottom of the barrel. Gently pull this fold down until it protrudes further. Now you can press it - this will be the trigger.
