The master class was conducted by Alexey Nikitin.

Warm weather, a feeling of celebration and anticipation of something new - looking at this picture, pleasant feelings are born on their own. So that she can please you too, we present this master class.

Materials:
quilling paper 300 x 7 mm;
frame for work measuring 30 x 30 cm.

Tools:
tool for twisting paper strips;
tweezers for holding and fastening quilling elements;
scissors with a sharp nose;
template ruler with circles of different diameters;
PVA glue.

Progress.
We start by making blue flower balls. We take two strips of blue paper 7 mm wide and glue them together.

1

Using scissors, cut the fringe along the entire length of the resulting strip.

2

Using a rolling tool, make a tight roll.

3

We give the roll a convex shape and grease the base with PVA glue.

4

After the glue has dried, we give the flower its final shape.

5

Beige flowers. Take a strip of beige paper 1.5 mm wide and roll it into a tight roll.

6

After twisting is complete, place the resulting roll in a template ruler and unravel it.

7

After giving the spiral the desired shape, glue the end.

8

Shape the roll into an “eye” by squeezing it with your fingers on both sides.

9

We collect a flower. The base of the flower consists of 7 petals, when creating which we use a circle with a diameter of 13 mm.

10

We assemble the second row of 5 petals (circle diameter - 12 mm), and the top row - of 3 (circle diameter - 11 mm). Using the same scheme, we make burgundy, pink and lilac flowers, only pink and lilac flowers do not have a third row, and the core is made like blue ball flowers. In this case, a strip of white paper 3.5 mm wide and 3 cm long is used, which is also cut into fringes and rolled into a roll.

11

Leaves. To make leaves we use strips of paper 1.5 mm wide. Each leaf consists of 5 rolls, which are shaped like a drop.

12

Two rolls, which are located at the very bottom, bloom in a circle with a diameter of 11 mm, two more (middle ones) - in a circle of 10 mm, and the last roll - in a circle of 9 mm. Glue the “droplets” together.

13

Cinquefoils. To make these flowers we need five petals. Take a strip of paper 1.5 mm thick and cut it in half.

14

We twist a tight roll, which we then unravel into a circle with a diameter of 7 mm. After gluing the loose roll, we give it the shape of a drop. Glue the resulting petals together.

15

We make the middle of the flower from a tightly twisted roll. We make five-leaf leaves with sharp petals in the same way - we give the roll the shape of an eye, and squeeze it with our fingers on both sides.

16

The butterfly for this painting is created according to the diagram. You can come up with any scheme, it all depends on your imagination. The body consists of two glued cones. We take two strips of 3.5 mm thickness and roll them into a tight roll. Next, we give the resulting roll a cone shape. We make another such part and glue the resulting cones together.

17

We make a small butterfly wing, which consists of 5 different elements (all strips of paper 1.5 mm wide). Roll the strip into a roll. Next, we unravel it in a circle with a diameter of 13 mm and glue the free end of the strip. Give the resulting roll the shape of an eye. For a small wing you need two of these elements.

18

We take the next strip, twist the roll, which we then unravel into a circle with a diameter of 7 mm. Glue the free end of the roll and give it a heart shape.

19

Cut another strip into two parts. Roll up a tight roll and glue the free end. Take a strip of paper of a different color, cut it into two parts and wrap it around the resulting roll.

20

We take the strip and twist the roll, which we then unravel into a circle with a diameter of 8 mm.

21

To make the last two elements, we also roll a roll from a strip cut into two parts. Then we unroll the roll in a circle with a diameter of 7 mm. Give the resulting roll the shape of an irregular drop.

22

We glue all the resulting elements together according to the diagram shown in the photo.

23

Wrap the wing with a strip of paper of a different color.

24

We make a large butterfly wing, which consists of 7 different elements (all strips of paper 1.5 mm wide). We twist the strip into a roll and spread it out into a circle of 17 mm. Shape the eye. The second element is similar to the second element of the small wing, only in this case we open the roll in a circle with a diameter of 12 mm. For the third element, we roll a tight roll from a whole strip without cutting it into two parts.

25

We twist a strip of paper into a roll and spread it in a circle of 10 mm. Shape the eye. For a large wing we make two such elements. The fifth element is similar to the fourth, only we give the resulting roll the shape of a “bent eye”; the sixth - to the second element of the small wing, differs only in color.

26

The seventh element consists of a roll spread out in a circle of 10 mm and having the following shape.

27

Let's put all the elements together. Wrap the wing with a strip of paper of a different color. We make the other two wings in the same way. We make the butterfly's antennae from short strips, which we twist at one end.

28

Advice.
Quilling paper varies in thickness. You can use any, but it is advisable that it be as thin as possible, then the elements will obediently take the shape that you need.

Today's master class will help you easily make an original “Christmas wreath” out of paper.

To create this craft, prepare the following materials:

  • paper strips for quilling (you can also make such strips yourself by cutting them from double-sided colored paper);
  • scissors;
  • toothpick 1 pc.;
  • glue stick.

Take the first strip of green paper and wrap it around a toothpick. When winding, make sure that the tape is tightly fixed and does not unwind.

After that, the resulting workpiece must be loosened a little, and then the tip of the tape must be secured with glue.

When the glue dries well enough, give the workpiece this droplet shape.

For the wreath we will need only 14 of these blanks.

You will get a heart like this.

Do the same manipulations with the remaining droplets.

Lay them out like this - with the sharp corners facing out.

Then start applying glue to the sides of the blanks and connect them to each other. The base of our Christmas wreath is ready!

Now we need paper strips of a darker shade. We will again wind the blanks from such strips, then give them the necessary shape - the shape of a droplet. Make seven dark green pieces.

Then we need to make seven more of the same blanks, but in a light shade.

We will place them next to the previous dark green parts.

Leave the craft until completely dry.

While the wreath is drying, we will make several red circles.

When the glue has dried you can proceed to the next step.

Apply to the bottom of the red blank and glue it to the wreath.

You need to place it at the base of two small droplets. Glue the remaining six parts in the same way.

The wreath pendant can be made from any material, but we will make it from paper. We will need paper tape of any shade you like. Having tried on its length, fold it into a loop and cut off all excess. Using glue, connect the ends.

Then using glue, we fix it between two small parts.

Now you need to leave the wreath for a few minutes until the glue dries completely.
The paper Christmas wreath is ready!

She pleased us with a couple more wonderful New Year's ideas, realized using the quilling technique. The result was very delicate decorations - a wreath and Christmas ball. Take it into service! Manufacturing technologies are absolutely accessible. Of course, you will need a certain amount of patience. But in creativity, as you know, you can’t do without it. :)

New Year's wreath using quilling technique

During these New Year's days, all creative people are obsessed with crafts, including Christmas wreaths. The same thought came to me too, and I did New Year's wreath using your favorite quilling technique.

To work you need:

- quilling paper;

- quilling tool;

- scissors;

- double sided tape;

— packaging corrugated cardboard;

- thin cardboard;

We cut out a circle with a diameter of 18 cm from the packaging cardboard with a hole in the center with a diameter of 6.5 cm. We cut out the same circle from white paper and glue it to the cardboard on the back side.

To create volume, cut out strips from thin cardboard and glue them to the circle in “arches”, as shown in the photo.

We seal the voids between the strips with trapezoidal elements of the appropriate size.

Now you need to wind more than 500 paper rolls.

Let's give them the shape of a drop. We glue the quilling elements onto a cardboard base in two rows - we get a voluminous, convex wreath.

For decoration, I used bows made from ribbons with lurex (I already showed how to make them), as well as beads.

The result was a New Year's wreath using the quilling technique.

New Year's ball using quilling technique

I also want to tell you how to use the wonderful quilling technique for decoration. New Year's ball. There is nothing complicated here, you just need patience.

To work you need:

foam ball 10 cm in diameter (if this is not available, you can replace it with another or make it yourself from newspapers);

- glue Titan, Moment or the one you are used to;

- ready-made strips for quilling (I cut them myself, the width of my strip is 0.5 cm);

quilling tool;

- ribbon and beads for decoration.

First we make a snowflake. It requires the following elements: a tight roll, an “eye”, an element in the form of an “open heart”. We make the required number of parts and connect everything into a snowflake.

Transfer the snowflake to the ball and glue it with Titanium glue.

After this, we proceed to fill the rest of the surface of the ball, using the following elements for this: loose rolls, “drops” and processed “drops”. I used more than 200 strips of paper to decorate the ball.

Having filled the entire surface of the ball, we begin to decorate it. Making a bow from satin ribbon and decorate with beads.

The end result was this Christmas tree decoration.

Are you wondering how to decorate your home for the winter season? Bring to life the idea of creating a festive wreath using the quilling technique! Make a small wreath pendant using step by step descriptions and a photo of this!

To make a pendant you will need the following materials and tools:
- paper tapes for quilling measuring 5*300 mm in red, dark green, green and light green shades;
- floss to match the pendant;
- tool for rolling rolls;
- manicure scissors;
- PVA glue;
- glue “Moment”;
- clothespins.

Step 1
First, make the berries for the wreath.
Twist 10 tight rolls from red ribbons and secure their ends with glue.

Step 2
After this, give them a convex shape by prying the roll with the end of a pencil or pen cap.
To fix the berries in a static position and not spoil their convex shape, coat their convex parts with a layer of PVA glue, first on the outside and then on the inside.

Step 3
While the glue dries, start making large berries.
To do this, glue the ends of two red ribbons together and twist the resulting strip into a tight roll (glue the end of the ribbon).
Then give the berries a convex shape and fix it with glue in the same way as when making small berries.

Step 4
In total, you need to make 5 large berries for the wreath.

Step 5
Next, start making the leaf part of the pendant.
Twist not too tight rolls from dark green ribbons and secure their ends with glue.

The wreath will consist of 10 repeating foliage motifs.
For each of the motifs you need to make 3 dark green rolls, that is, you need 30 rolls in total.

Step 6
Once all the rolls are ready, shape them into a teardrop shape by pressing one side with your thumb and forefinger.

Step 7
After this, make branches, connecting 3 pieces for each.
In this case, the central workpiece should be several millimeters (3-4) higher than the side ones.

To ensure that the blanks quickly take the desired shape and are glued evenly, their common end can be pressed down using a clothespin.
Do this carefully and do not hold the clothespin for long so that relief marks from the clothespins do not appear on the paper.

Step 8
Then take green ribbons and roll them into 20 loose rolls with taped ends.

Step 9
After this, give the rolls a teardrop shape.
Step 10
Next, work with light green ribbons.
For the wreath you need to prepare 10 loose rolls in the form of droplets from ribbons of a given shade.
The main elements for the suspension are ready.

Step 11
Now you need to make small fragments in the form of branches.
To do this, cut the green ribbons in half and make 10 tight rolls with glued ends from the “half” ribbons.

Then shape them into droplets.

Step 12
Now take the light green ribbons and cut them into equal halves, and then make 20 rolls out of them in the same way as in the previous steps.

Step 13
Now you need to make 10 branches from small green blanks.
Each branch consists of 2 light green and 1 green parts.

These parts need to be glued together so that the green part is in the center, and the light green parts are on the sides.
In this case, the central part should protrude several millimeters upward relative to the side parts.

The ends of the branches can be pinned together again (as when working with large branches).

Step 14
When all the elements are made, they need to be assembled into an overall composition.

Start with large green parts: first assemble them in pairs into “hearts”, gluing them on the side, and then arrange them symmetrically in a circle and glue them together by the parts in contact.

When gluing the “hearts”, you can work with PVA glue, and when assembling the parts into a circle, you can use “Moment” glue - it will connect the parts faster and more firmly.

However, it is worth remembering that Moment glue leaves marks on the paper after drying, unlike standard PVA glue. Therefore, it must be applied locally and very carefully.

Step 15
Then glue “twigs” of dark green leaves into the formed recesses in the wreath (choose glue at your discretion).

Step 16
Next, take small red berries and coat them with glue on the inner (concave) side and glue them to the wreath at an equal distance from each other - at the intersection points of the green “hearts” and dark green “twigs”.

Step 17
After this, glue small leaves, placing them behind the berries.
Coat the leaves on one side with glue and transfer to the structure.

Step 18
Now is the time to work with the light green details.
First give them a drop-shaped shape, and then bend them to one side.

Next, glue them together in pairs at the ends - you should get not “hearts”, but “seagulls”.

Step 19
When all the parts are glued in pairs, glue them inside the circle, coating the touching parts of the parts with glue.

Step 20
Now take large berries, coat their inner (concave) side with glue and glue them where the lettuce leaves touch.

Leave the work to dry and finally thread a thread of floss into the central leaf of one of the dark green branches and the pendant is ready!

The work is finished, admire the result of the work done!

1. Here is a wreath. This is how he looks from the front.

2. Side view. This photo reveals all the complex geometry of the wreath.

3. Bottom view. I really love photos with complex angles. Promising refractions and edges, edges, edges......love this photo.

4. This photo shows that small venus modules are inserted into each other, and the antennae are extended halfway.

5. All the flowers are still in buds, but this one has opened.)))))

7. That's how handsome he is. The first ones are the bravest.))))

8. In this photo you can see that small venus modules are inserted into huge ones, and the antennae are extended halfway or are not tucked in at all.

9. The center is made using the quilling technique.

10. View and that says it all.))))

11. How it looked until we came across flowers.

12. From the side and in perspective.

15. On this page, look at the left side. on the right is the creation of crossbars. good luck to everyone. and be sure to show off your beauty.)))))

There are many holidays coming soon. This year I wanted to decorate my apartment in a different way. And this is why several wreaths were born. They are all different. One is currently being prepared for final assembly, but the other has already been photographed and I am putting it on display for you to see. To be honest, I did it tediously and for a long time. A couple of times I wanted to hit the top with my fist and throw the rest into the trash. Well, I was very angry. But I restrained myself. Now I am like Buddha - measured and reasonable. Well, if you take away the jokes and jokes, then I really liked the result. I keep walking in a circle and can’t stop admiring it. The wreath came out in Scandinavian style. This is probably due to the coloring of the ribbons. From a distance of 1 meter you wouldn’t even think that it’s made of cardboard, and its weight hints at the same thing. Weighs, at a glance, more than 500 grams. I have already fallen twice, which caused me great distress. The inner diameter is approximately 13 cm, the outer diameter is approximately 35 cm. Well, now to the technical features.)))) The wreath consists of: Of 13 cubes (Open flame II) according to the book - Tomoko Fuse - Unit Origami - Multidimensional Transformations (65 - 66 pages) .
Each cube contains 12 modules|.
Square 10 by 10 cm
I took squares - 9.9 cm. This size is because the size of the A4 format is 210x297 mm. 297/3=99. in other words, 6 leaves come out of 1 A4 and this is economical and virtually without scraps. Wherever the dimensions are written 10x10cm - practically 9.9x9.9 cm.
