- Next, make 5 dc and 2 dc, but in the chain loop of the previous row, then 2 ch and 2 dc in the next loop of the first row and again 2 dc. Knit this combination 4 times.
- Next, repeat the same thing, just start with 7 dc, and at the end of the cycle do 4 dc.
- Sew the seam with a needle. The square is ready!

Another version of a universal blanket is a fabric knitted from the middle. The sides of such a canvas are the same length. The knitting process is extremely simple - stitches are added at the corners of each next row. For this reason, the number of columns and air loops becomes larger and larger with distance from the middle. This option is characterized by the fact that the corners of the canvas are somewhat elongated - not rectangular, but sharp, and the straight parts, accordingly, are slightly compressed. A woolen blanket can be washed in a machine using the “Wool” setting or by hand. The spin is only very delicate. Cotton ones can be safely machine washed, and white ones can even be bleached.
