The princess, as a craft made from cardboard or paper, is most interesting to girls, because many of them simply love to draw fairy-tale princes and princesses. Alternatively, you can offer to make such a princess yourself from everything you have in the house. The easiest way to create a model is from paper. The manufacturing scheme is very simple and accessible, even for preschoolers. From paper you can easily create an octopus and a cat, a hare or ladybug, chicken, duckling - in a word, any animal. The human craft is a little more difficult to make, but the process of creating it is very interesting. If you make other characters besides the paper princess, you can use them to play in your home theater. You can, as an option, come up with different stories, acting them out by connecting, say, a construction set or other toys.

How does a princess differ from other fairy-tale heroes?

Any princess has several external distinctive features. This gorgeous hair, perhaps with her hair done, a sweet, pretty face and an elegant crown. Princesses usually dress in ball gowns with full skirts.

Advice

It is the above characteristics that will need to be introduced, first of all, when making a paper princess. For this you will need not only white, but also colored paper.

Required paper

It is desirable that it is not just colored paper, but double-sided paper. The following colors will be needed: yellow, pink and red. Golden semi-cardboard with glitter will also be useful, and if you have it, plastic eyes. The tools you need are scissors and a pencil, as well as a marker, glue and, of course, a ruler.

Making a template

First, take yellow half-cardboard. The basis for the craft is prepared from it - this is a template, one might say, the basis of the future princess. Measured horizontally 14 centimeters, and vertically 7 centimeters. Using scissors you need to cut everything along the contour drawn with a pencil. Then you need to divide this rectangle into 5 parts. Moreover, the main parts of the craft will be those that are 5 centimeters wide. The remaining parts will be 1.5 and 1 centimeter each. Next, the line is drawn vertically and folds are created. You need to apply drops of glue to parts of the workpiece 1 centimeter wide. They are glued to the other side of the rectangle and it looks like a box that can be placed.

Dress

A princess dress will be created from pink half-cardboard. You need to cut out a semi-oval - this is necessary to create the lower part of a fluffy ball gown. As for the top, it should be subtle, slightly reminiscent of a diamond or heart. Then the rhombus is glued in the center of the previously obtained volumetric rectangle. The skirt of the dress is attached to the top; it looks like a pink semicircle. Then thin strips 1 centimeter wide are cut out of yellow paper. They may be different lengths. They should be curled so that they look like curly strands of hair. When this is done, they need to be attached along the entire top of the paper blank. A beautiful crown is cut out of golden-colored paper for the future princess. It needs to be attached; a crown located on the right side of the head, at a slight angle, will look most beautiful. After this comes the turn of the face. You need to glue plastic eyes to the center of the princess's face. Alternatively, you can simply draw the eyes. After this, all other facial features are drawn in. This is done with a black marker, preferably one with a thin rod. It is necessary to work out the princess’s face as realistically as possible - add red cheeks and cute, scarlet lips to her. It would also be nice to add small elements to a chic ball gown. For example, draw the silhouette of the upper part, as well as the texture of the folds of the skirt.

Advice

Thus, through simple manipulations, a cute princess with a golden crown and chic curls, dressed in a pink ball gown, is obtained from paper. If desired, the child can supplement it with other details at his own discretion.

Creating a Princess from a Template

Templates for dolls, including princesses, can be easily found and downloaded on the Internet, or purchased at a bookstore. The layout you like is printed on a color printer, having previously selected the required print sizes. Then the printed design is coated with a thin layer of adhesive on the reverse side, and then carefully glued onto thin cardboard. After drying, the outline of the princess is cut out with scissors. You need to act very carefully.

Children's craft Princess

You can make the “Princess” craft together with children over 5 years old.

To make a “Princess” craft, you will need:

a sheet of thick paper; thick long needle with a large needle eye; pink knitting threads - for the dress, yellow threads - for the hair, orange threads - for the bows; two black buttons - for the eyes; three blue buttons on a leg - for a belt; three white glass stones and one lilac glass stone - for a crown.

On a piece of paper we draw a circle with a pencil - the face of our future princess. We outline the princess's eyes with a pencil. Apply glue to the eyes and attach black buttons.

We unwind the yellow threads and cut off strips in the amount of 12 pieces, about 30-35 cm long. We put these twelve strips together, bend them in half and put them on the top of the princess’s head.

We thread the yellow thread through the needle and secure the hair. Namely, we pierce a sheet of paper from the back side and pull the thread to the front side, pierce the sheet with a needle again and pull the thread to the back side. The result is a stitch. We secure the free ends of the threads on the reverse side with a knot.

We secure the hair with these stitches and at the level of the sides of the head, just above the eyes. Then we braid the princess’s hair. Cut three strips of orange thread 20-25 cm long and secure the princess’s braids with bows.

For the princess dress, cut 16 strips of pink thread 35 cm long. Divide the strips in half. We bend eight pink stripes in half and fasten them with a stitch on one of the princess’s shoulders. We fasten the other eight pink stripes with a stitch on the opposite shoulder of the princess.

Let's separate five stripes from the eight and fasten them with a stitch at the level of the expected elbow of the princess's arm - we get a "flashlight" sleeve. If necessary, shorten the length of the sleeve threads. We do the same on the other side. We align the remaining threads on both sides and secure them with a stitch at the princess’s waist level. At the same time, we string three buttons on the leg onto a thread at the waist. On the reverse side we secure the stitch with a knot.

In modern children's toy stores, you can find a doll for every taste and color. Buy - sew or cut out dresses and play. But playing with a doll that was made with love by mom is more enjoyable. How to make a paper doll? Let's figure it out with the help of our article.

Materials and tools for making paper dolls

Before making a paper doll, you need to prepare the materials. Their choice depends on the version of the pupa.

The craft can be based on:

  • cardboard, to obtain a dense workpiece;
  • colored paper;
  • wire for three-dimensional crafts;
  • paper napkins;
  • felt-tip pens or paints;
  • a notebook or album (we will consider their use in one of the crafts below);
  • wooden sticks.

We will indicate additional tools and materials (if required) in each master class separately.

Prepare cardboard, scissors and markers. Let's get started:

  1. We use white cardboard. Draw the outline of the doll on it. This is a blank.
  2. On cardboard we immediately draw hair, face, and jewelry. If the cardboard is glossy and you drew with felt-tip pens, leave the workpiece for 5-10 minutes to dry. Don't rush into cutting right away, as the markers may smear.
  3. Let's cut out the doll and start preparing the clothes.
  4. Clothes are made according to the contours of the doll. It is applied to a landscape sheet and gives the future clothes the appropriate length and width. You can also look for clothes in fashion magazines; the most important thing is to try on ready-made dresses for the doll in advance.
  5. A mandatory element of clothing is fasteners. With their help, wardrobe items are attached to the doll.
  6. If necessary, you can make a stand for the doll. It is made from a thick cardboard circle. We cut out this element and attach it to the doll with glue.

The interior is decorated to your taste, and the composition is completed by doors that can open into other “rooms.” With effort, you can make a house with three-dimensional details. Of course, you can’t sit the doll at the table, but your child will like the result.

Why is it worth paying attention to a doll and such a house from a notebook? The fact is that the parts for the game are small, they perfectly develop hand motor skills. The game itself gives the opportunity to show imagination, and of course, unlike online games of this type, this one will preserve the child’s vision.

Making a Japanese paper doll

Before making this type of doll, let us note that they are very popular in Japan. In addition, a separate holiday called Hina is dedicated to them, which is held every year in early March. This doll is called “Chiogami”. It is too early for us to consider a complex version of its manufacture, but it is worth making in a simplified form.

Prepare:

  • three-layer napkins (use with a colorful pattern);
  • scissors;
  • cardboard (thin one will be required)
  • multi-colored paper;
  • glue stick.

Now we’ll learn how to make a Japanese doll with your own hands from paper:

Quick volume version of the doll

We have already considered several options for dolls. Now we’ll learn how to make a three-dimensional doll with your own hands from paper. This is the most simple craft. What is required of you:

  • We roll thick colored paper into a cone, glue the edges together, cut off all excess;
  • using a simple pencil, draw the outline of the future craft;
  • Let's use paints or markers and decorate our doll;
  • We glue the finished top of the doll to the cone so that the transition is smooth; you can smooth the cutout with napkins.

Using this principle, you can do not only an ordinary doll, but also real. Of course, this will require printing the top, finished part of the doll.

Volumetric princess doll

Continuing the theme of voluminous paper dolls, you need to pay special attention to the homemade version below.

This craft will not cause any difficulties to create. Even a child can do it, of course, in some cases adult help will be required. As a result of your work, you will get a real princess in a fluffy dress.

The beauty of such a doll lies in the way it is made: big-eyed, smiling, not laughing, serious and even stately. But the most important thing in such a craft is the skirt.

Let's start making:

If you are not looking for easy ways, improve the doll. Make the top so that it fits proportionally under the skirt. You can make the doll's body with a removable top of clothes, then make several additional skirts, and your princess will be able to change outfits.

It will be interesting for a child to play with a doll that has special plastic eyes. You can add glued eyelashes and a little blush to them. Don't forget to add a crown or bow to your princess. Inspect your finished doll; if the folds on the skirt are stuck together, it’s okay, straighten them carefully with your hands.

To make the doll even more luxurious, you don’t have to draw her hair. They can be made from a separate sheet of paper using the fringe technique. This will not only add volume to the toy’s face, but also avoid the formation of bald spots.

Don't forget to show your child's creativity. He may want to decorate the doll in his own way. A product with hair made of yellow threads will look interesting. You will need a little more glue to attach them. If you plan to make a doll this way, make sure that the body of the doll is made of very durable cardboard.

Now you have learned how to make not just a voluminous, but also a very interesting doll from simple materials. The description will seem long to you, but the work is done quickly, and most importantly it is interesting, especially if the upper part will be completely drawn and painted by yourself.

If you are interested in how to make a paper doll, I present to you an idea with step by step photos and a detailed explanation. This paper doll It’s not at all difficult to make, but children may need adult help at some points. The doll turns out wonderful, in lush voluminous dress, a real princess. The main thing in the craft is the skirt, and the top of the doll can be at your discretion and flight of fancy. My doll turned out to be big-eyed and funny, but if you give her a different face, the princess can be sweet, sad, cheerful and perky, serious and stately.

What materials will be needed?

  • Colored cardboard. I chose pale pink cardboard for the face and hands, my princess’s hair will be yellow and her dress will be red;
  • Moving eyes, but you can cut them out of paper or draw them;
  • Glue stick, scissors, felt-tip pens, pencil, compass.

Step-by-step instructions on how to make a paper doll

Let's start with the full skirt. This technique has already been used in the creation of and.

Draw with a compass and cut out 8 circles. I used a glass, but it would have been possible to choose a larger vessel, since the doll turned out to be small.

Fold the circle in half.

Then again.

Do these steps for all circles.

All resulting almost triangles need to be glued together. This needs to be done correctly to create a full skirt. Look at the photo, the triangles are arranged so that they are divided into two parts at the bottom, and a corner at the top. It is in this position that they need to be glued together.

Take two folded circles, apply glue to one side and press the second circle firmly.

It is not necessary to completely lubricate the side, you can just a little, in the middle, so that later it will be easy to place the doll’s body in the skirt. The main thing is that the details of the skirt do not fall apart. Here are two circles already glued.

Glue all the triangles together, stretch the skirt and glue the first and last parts.

Straighten the skirt, make all the compartments wider. To avoid sharp voids, apply glue between the sides of the triangle. Try to fluff up the skirt as much as possible.

The most important part is ready. And then you can simply draw the desired image of the princess on a piece of paper, draw her face, hair, the top of the dress with her hands, and color it all with felt-tip pens and pencils. Then simply place this upper part between the folds of the skirt and the paper doll will be ready. Everything is simple and fast. But if you, like my daughter and I, are not looking for easy ways, follow our example.

Making the upper part of the doll

Based on the size of the skirt, draw a circle and then a neck. The larger the skirt, the larger the head and, accordingly, vice versa. If you have a small skirt, try to choose a head that is proportional to it. Cut out the head and neck.

Draw a simple top part of the dress; wide ones go well with a full skirt. long sleeves. But you can also wear short sleeves with a flashlight. Cut out this part of the dress. It’s okay if it’s long; you can cut off the excess later. Although, if you don’t cut it off, the dress will be a ballroom dress, but in the “mermaid” style :)

Glue the dress to the head and neck.

Then draw the hair. To do this, you can first draw the same circle as the head and frame it with hair. Don't forget to mark the place where the face will be, draw the bangs and just a circular area that needs to be cut out. The child cannot do this on his own; he will need the help of an adult, especially if the doll is small. So that you can later place your face in the designated area, cut your hair a little at the back.

Glue the hair to the head and dress.

Cut out the hands, almost schematically, without details in the form of fingers.

Place it in full skirt between the folds, secure with glue. You can peel off the triangles a little in the right place if they are tightly glued. You may need to trim the top along with the hair a little, as it can be difficult to calculate at first. Don't forget to add a princess crown or accessory like a hat or bow like my daughter did.

Rear view of the doll. There was a pink circle showing through on the back of the head, so I cut out the hair again and taped it, otherwise the area looked like a bald spot :)

Now you know how to make a paper doll. It may seem complicated due to the long explanation, but in fact everything is simple and quick. Especially if the upper part of the doll is completely drawn, painted and cut out.

And here is the princess in a purple outfit that my daughter made. Judging by their bulging eyes and eye color, they are clearly related :) By the way, my daughter never played with dolls, but she got quite into playing with these homemade ones.

What is the most important thing in preparation for the holiday?
Mood! How to create it?

Simple, quick and easy to make a crown for your little girl to make her feel like a princess or queen.

If you have a lot of time to prepare, then we make a kokoshnik on a frame, or using cardboard, we cut out a template, according to which we will make a crown for the Snow Maiden or a snowflake.

Unfortunately or fortunately, our kids are designed in such a way that they need a crown instantly, literally in a few hours, or even better in a few minutes.

Notice the crowns above. Each of them is done quite quickly, which cannot be said about these crowns in the next photo.

The first one is made using the kanzashi technique. A fairly well-known technique that has gained popularity is when a product is made step by step from ribbons. This first photo, you must agree, is beautiful and exclusive, but very fragile and not suitable for children.

The second photo is a creation made from beads; it can be either on a wire frame or without it. Look how sequins and large stones fit in here.
The rest of the beads complement and add charm. You will find all these details in any bead store, there will also be wire, stones and everything else that is required for such a creation.

Photo 3 is a kokoshnik embroidered with threads with beaded elements and made on a frame. Such beauty requires a lot of patience, attention and perseverance from needlewomen.

These crowns are very beautiful, but they are not suitable for little girls, since the time required and the amount of labor exceed the few minutes that little girls are willing to endure.

Therefore, let's consider quick ways creating crowns, while they are very impressive and beautiful, not at all inferior to kokoshniks, having the main advantage - they are light!

  1. from foil;
  2. from a plastic bottle;
  3. from a peat pot;
  4. from cardboard roll;
  5. frame decorated with tinsel;
  6. from lace;
  7. from paper.

We chose exactly 7, since hundreds of thousands of variants are made using these templates; they will differ only in details in execution or decoration.

Having begun to master the creation of a crown, we invite you to remember that it also requires. Lots of ideas and tips from slippers, tights to finishing touches on accessories and crowns.
How to make a suit from what you have at home or decorate a dress to create an exclusive outfit.

And the crown will look perfect on the hairstyles specially selected in this article. They are suitable for snowflakes and queens, Christmas trees, Cinderellas and princesses. Many photos and videos available will show how to repeat them on your girl’s head, which will make it easy to recreate them.
It's time to practice and make one of the suggested ones or your own version based on photo ideas.

Have you already chosen a hairstyle for your princess?

Foil crown

To create such a crown, you need a roll of baking foil, tear it off and make voluminous rolls, creating a ring, then attach the top to it.

The foil bends well and maintains its shape. In addition to the crown, you can make other signs of royalty.

It’s very easy to add new parts or entire units, the only disadvantage of this material is that if it’s compressed too much, it’s very difficult to straighten it out, but we recommend using everything you have at home and decorating it in 2 layers, giving it a “silver” look.

Crown made from a plastic bottle

We immediately found 3 options, they differ in the method of adding color and decoration, but the basis is the same - these are familiar and familiar plastic bottles that are found in every home.

Golden

The golden crown is plastic bottle painted with varnish, its main advantage is that it is not closed in a ring, it covers ¾ of the head, which allows anyone to wear it, a decoration according to their own opinion and taste.

Pay attention to the photo, painted plastic is well decorated with stones and other decorations.

You can buy them in the store or look for them from the needlewoman’s mother in her “hamster” supplies. Often purchased just in case. Choose sew-on stones or ones with a flat inner side.

What is the crown decorated with?

The stones are glued using a hot gun or superglue. Sequins are glued around them; one bag will be enough to decorate the entire surface. Beads are also suitable, but we recommend choosing small ones, they weigh less.

Diadem

To create a tiara, you need a 2 liter bottle and a template, according to which we will draw a design with sparkles. Then we carefully cut it out and it is ready, if there is still time, then we paint it and glue rhinestones and stones, so it looks more valuable.

Lilac

The base is a plastic bottle wrapped in glitter paper, and the front is decorated with rhinestones in the shape of shells or sequins.

  1. Prepare a 5 liter bottle and outline the top part on it, first measure the baby’s head. The volume of the head should be equal to the length of the resulting shape and bottle.
  2. To make it look beautiful and without alterations, draw the outline for the first time not with a permanent marker, but with a proofreader or pencil, and only after correcting mistakes with a marker. We want to reassure you, even if it didn’t work out the first time, it’s okay, because the front part will be decorated and the flaws will be hidden.
  3. We cut out the edges and make sure that they are 1-2 mm larger than the contour, because By running a lighter along the edge, we will make the edges less sharp and dangerous for the child.
  4. Pasting the inside shiny paper, this can be wrapping or from gift bags. We do this using tape, a hot gun, or whatever superglue we have on hand. Remember about double-sided tape, it will stick perfectly to the plastic and hold the paper.
  5. We glue the sequins using a hot gun or superglue, applying from bottom to top so that the bottom layer overlaps the top.
  6. We decorate the lower part with matching tinsel. For better fixation, use a stapler; it will speed up the fastening process and the staples will not be visible, because she's brilliant. Double-sided tape will also work.
  7. To make sure the structure is strong, turn it upside down before trying it on, let it dry for several hours so that the glue sets everywhere, if you used it.
  8. This crown is suitable for a queen or a mermaid, or maybe a butterfly or a queen. It all depends on the chosen color of the suit and the mood of your beauty.

Crown made from peat pot and cardboard roll

And these materials are definitely available in every home.

You will need: a cardboard roll of foil or baking sleeves or film, possibly toilet paper, paint, washcloth, stones and sequins for decoration, a mustache clip, hot gun or superglue, paint brush and pen.

Its production is very similar, with a crown made from a cardboard roll, so we will not give the second description.

  1. We draw peaks on the crown so that we can see the necessary cutouts.
  2. We paint with white paint, it’s better to take acrylic, we need to paint our future crown inside and out;
  3. We cover golden paint To make our crown look like a real one, we use a sponge for this.
  4. We decorate with rhinestones, beads, sequins, then glue a hairpin for fastening.

When making from a cardboard roll, you need to make a bottom. Leftover rolls are perfect.

  • Place the crown on cardboard or any thick paper. Draw a circle according to the shape, but you should get 2 circles. One is equal to the diameter of the crown, and the second is 2-3 cm larger.
  • We cut out in a larger circle and make cuts, right up to the second circle, we bend these sections, we glue them inside so that the bottom holds tightly.
  • It is extremely important to glue inside, because... the outside will look less aesthetically pleasing, so make sure that you don’t get confused and that all the tails of the bottom are inside.
  • The remaining points are similar.

Frame decorated with tinsel

Tinsel or rain is wrapped very tightly on the finished frame, preferably with glue or 2-sided tape; if possible, add beads to the peaks of the peaks.

It is important to check and remove any sharp or scratched parts using tape or other means. If there are sharp ends, drop them on them using a hot gun or dip them in PVA glue and let them dry.

Talk to your child what shape of crown she wants, show her different options, but choose not the most complex ones.

Tinsel with a steel vein has appeared in stores; if you find it in a store, you will speed up the manufacturing process several times. There is no need to wrap anything, you just need to connect the individual parts.

We make a beaded crown on the frame, but such a crown cannot be called simple and quick, so it was left out of the top, but crowns sometimes turn out simply breathtaking. To make it you will need: pliers, round nose pliers, wire, beads and beads, a lot of time and patience.

Lace crown

We starch any lace we like or grease it with PVA glue (or rubber glue), let it dry, and paint it acrylic paint and give it the desired size (put it on a jar or bottle).

What to do if you don't have lace?

Take a closer look, perhaps there are some lace curtains or an unnecessary blouse with openwork elements. This will do too. You just need to cut out the desired openwork element of the required length and then everything follows the algorithm, so don’t worry, even if this piece is stained or stained.

The advantages of this crown are its simplicity and accessibility, the disadvantage is the time it takes to dry.
The video will teach you how to make a lace crown:

Paper crown

Paper is a material that is found in every home, so it is the easiest way to make a crown in a matter of minutes. Naturally, it will be far from festive and will be simple, but if you spend a little more time decorating it, you will see that it will surprise and delight many guests of the holiday party.
Which crown options are the simplest:

  1. according to a paper template;
  2. origami;
  3. diadem;
  4. kokoshnik;
  5. from a paper plate.

Nowadays, many templates have appeared on the Internet; if you print them out and place them on a hard base, you will get a crown; an alternative option is to glue them to cardboard.

Pay attention to the 5th and 6th crowns, just cardboard or paper decorated with sequins, and in the second case lace and some beads are glued on.

Before you start cutting out the crown, measure the child's head to determine whether it will be elastic or will fit tightly.

How to turn a simple crown into a work of art?

  1. Choose a suitable simple template, the simpler the better. Apply it to whatman paper, print it out and transfer it in a pencil, or immediately draw peaks on whatman paper.
  2. Cut according to the template to the required length. If the whatman paper is not very dense, then glue the inside into another layer or with colored silver paper.
  3. Purchase from a craft store: silver-colored snowflakes, braid with rectangular or pointed, silver-colored rectangular parts, glitter glue or glitter (gel glitter), simply replace it with PVA glue and glitter.
  4. On the cut out template we apply a pattern in shape reminiscent of drawing frost on the windows only in a very simplified version, leave room for snowflakes - they are the main accent of the crown, glue them using a hot gun or super glue. Lay a braid along the edge so that each bend has a border of them. If you don’t want to draw, then choose a piece of fabric with such a pattern in white or transparent.
  5. Try on the finished crown and sew on an elastic band if you have planned one, but pre-treat the edges with tape or glue a wide elastic band if you did not glue the 2nd layer of whatman paper.

It is important to choose everything in silver color, then white + silver will look elegant and in the style of snow.

This crown is suitable for both snowflakes and Snow Queen, as well as princesses or other fairy-tale characters.

For a crown using a template you need: a crown template, cardboard from a box, silicate and super glues, beads, beads, sequins, a hoop, rhinestone stickers, a container for glue, brushes for glue and a tool for laying out beads.

How this can be done at home is shown step by step in the video:

Crown for the Snow Queen

A kokoshnik is made from paper in the same way, as is a tiara, for decoration, tinsel or rain is often used, but the braid looks more advantageous, as do snowflakes instead of sequins.

Kokoshnik

Using origami technique

You will need: a sheet of paper and strictly follow the folds according to the instructions, decorate it with rhinestones, sparkles, snowflakes, beads and seed beads to match your princess’s costume.
But that's not all to make a high crown using the origami technique. It is enough to bend the required sides correctly.

Please note that there are 2 instructions in the photo, so choose the version of crowns that you like best.

Our top is all closed, but one more type of crown is left out. The reason for this is that they are easy if you master the crochet technique.

Note for needlewomen

Simple crowns or kokoshniks, with and without beads

If you know the beading technique, you can make crowns like these for your pet. We recommend making crowns on a wire frame, then the problem of maintaining the shape will not worry you.

Crochet crown

To crochet a crown, we use non-cotton threads; remember, threads with lurex will make sequins and small rhinestones invisible.

Delicate crowns for snowflakes

We suggest right now to knit a crown in 30-40 minutes, even for a beginner!

You will definitely know the answer to the question of where to get it with video lessons for beginners.
Here is a crown on a headband, a hair clip, ideas for creating a crown for any head size. Just take 30 minutes and grab a hook and thread and the magic of transformation will follow.

Tie any of the crowns of the desired size and volume, all special calculations are given.

A few more secrets about tying beads, pay attention to the photo.

What to do if the threads are the wrong color?

When making a crown from threads of the wrong color, you shouldn’t be upset, you can paint it, but then you shouldn’t tie in beads, it’s better to sew them on later.

If you are knitting along the edge, another option is to put the beads on a loop, but if you want them to be on top of the product, then it is better to string them on a thread before knitting and knit them through a double crochet, so all the beads will lie on top. Single crochet, we show 2 knitting methods in the photo. 1 is an option on the Russian-language Internet, and 2 is an English-language option.

Step-by-step master class on making a universal crown

This crown is ideal because it has no size and is simple, suitable for both a very young snowflake and an older one.

You will need: a thick elastic band or stretchable bandage, a plastic glass, snowflakes, lace and all the beautiful sequins and half-beads for decoration.

  1. Cut out a shape similar to a tiara from a glass.
  2. Sew an elastic band to plastic form on both sides.
  3. We cut off the bottom of the glass, where there is a curved sill, and decorate it with lace, sew it to the bottom with stitches using a needle and thread. We glue half beads on top of the lace to create the desired accents.
  4. We lay out a tiara from snowflakes and glue it using a hot gun or superglue.

Tiara crown

We will need: an old tiara, mesh with sequins, tulle of 2 densities blue and white, snowflake, scissors and threads, sewing machine.

  1. In order for our snowflake to be fixed and stay on the tiara, it is necessary to make a hard backing from tulle.
  2. To do this, measure the size of the snowflake, applying it to the tulle and make a cut with a margin. From the resulting piece we make a dense, dense assembly either with a needle or with a machine. The denser the base, the better, so we make assemblies frequently.
  3. The resulting volumetric part will not suit us; we need to make it flatter and evener using an iron with the tulle or guipure mode.
  4. We adjust the blue tulle onto white.
  5. The third layer is a thin white tulle, it will be the background for the snowflake. Therefore, we lay it in an uneven fold and then attach it.
  6. We cut off the lower uneven edge of the tulle, then glue the tiara to it on top, thereby covering the seam. Glue using a hot gun.
  7. Similarly, glue a snowflake in the center.
  8. We cut off all 3 layers giving the crown a shape similar to a diadem. We move from the sides to the center, where our snowflake is located. Check that it is symmetrical.
  9. Then use an iron to add volume and fluffiness to the back layer.
  10. The fairytale princess's crown is ready, it's time to try it on and go to a ball or matinee at school or kindergarten.
