Place of work: MADO CRR d/s No. 121, Kaliningrad
Description of material: I present to your attention a master class, an application of an autumn tree made of colored paper “Autumn Kaleidoscope”, for children of the senior preparatory group of kindergarten, primary school. The work allows children to plunge into the lyrics of golden autumn and try to recreate the miraculous beauty of autumn nature. The material will be useful for teachers of senior preparatory groups of children preschool institutions, teachers additional education, primary school teachers.

"...I love the lush decay of nature,
Forests dressed in scarlet and gold..."
Target: Making an autumn tree applique
Tasks:
1. learn to create the image of an autumn tree, make leaves, grass from colored paper folded like an accordion, the sky - using the paper tearing technique,
2. develop fine motor skills hands, sense of color and shape,
3. consolidate skills and abilities in working with scissors,
4. cultivate the ability to see the beauty of nature,
5. cultivate perseverance and accuracy in work.
Material: sheet of cardboard of blue color, brown paper, unevenly colored (imitating wood), colored paper, pencil, ruler, scissors, glue

Tree template

Preliminary work: looking at the illustrations "Golden Autumn", a conversation on this topic, creating a herbarium from autumn leaves, listening to P.I. Tchaikovsky's play ("The Seasons") - "October" ("Autumn Song"), learning poems about autumn.
Why do trees shed their leaves in the fall?
- Why are trees ready for winter?
Undressing all around?
- And trees also need
Undress before going to bed!

(V. Orlov)

Step by step description work

On brown colored paper, unevenly colored (imitation wood), draw a tree
Recommendations: You can use a template made by the teacher (teacher), and the children will trace it; draw (outline) a tree on white paper, and then color it with pencils and paints; the paper can be brown, evenly colored

Cutting out the tree
Note: Approximate height 19 cm, provided that the format of the sheet of blue cardboard is A4 (background)

We make leaf blanks - squares of different colors (red, orange, yellow, light green) 3cm x 3cm
We also make a piece of grass - a green rectangle 2cm x 28cm.

We fold the squares like an accordion, starting from the corner (diagonally), fold the grass like an accordion exactly in width.

We make a hillock. We fold a rectangle of green paper 9cm x 4cm in half, round the corners with scissors and unfold it, we get a semicircle

We finish forming the leaves. We bend the resulting accordion of squares in half and glue the middle, we get leaves like this

Glue a hillock in the middle of the bottom edge of a sheet of blue cardboard

In the middle of the tubercle, departing 1.5 cm from the bottom edge, glue our wood blank, then stretch the green accordion (grass) along the entire lower edge of the cardboard, so that the “grass” covers the base of the tree

We begin to form the crown of our tree. Glue the leaves, alternating colors.
Note: the more leaves, the more magnificent the crown. You can depict how the leaves fly and break away from the branches (torn off by the wind)

We make the sky, clouds. We crumple scraps of blue paper and glue them to the top edge of our applique. Here we have a kaleidoscope of autumn colors!
Note:
After finishing working with children, you can use physical education minute:
What is leaf fall?
Imagine that your hands are leaves. Spread your fingers and see which tree leaves remind you of your hands. (Maple.) Make your leaves hard, tense, tight. (The teacher checks the tension of the fingers.) Okay. And now the leaves are hanging: relax your hands. Let's repeat the exercise again. Now let's show how the leaves sway in the wind. Do it with me. (Arms are bent at the elbows, hands hang slightly and sway from side to side.) Now the leaves are trembling in the wind. (Quick movements with fingers.)
I propose to organize an exhibition of works, to note which trees are different, how many bright, joyful colors autumn has brought us, and the children turned out to be real wizards, creating a kaleidoscope of autumn colors!

Good afternoon. Today I prepared new package of ideas for autumn children's crafts, which are suitable for fun at home with children, for activities in kindergarten or school. I will show the brightest autumn crafts, made by children's hands. Here you will find suitable ideas for the youngest children(2-3 years) and crafts for older children(7 - 10 years). We will make cut-out appliqués on the theme of autumn, children's mosaics from paper, buttons and beads. Draw with paints on autumn leaves, and also make colorful prints of these leaves on paper. I'll show you how to make an entire picture book from natural materials and teach you how to simple way make appliques from leaves. In short there will be a lot interesting lessons and master classes. So you won’t leave this article empty-handed.

Moreover, the site also has thematic articles - where autumn crafts are arranged according to specific topics. Popular themes for autumn are mushrooms, hedgehogs, owls, and apples. Such piggy bank articles are convenient for selecting ideas for activities in kindergarten or school.

So, let's see what children's autumn ideas I have collected in this article.

Crafts AUTUMN RAIN.

Children's applications.

An autumn rain craft can be presented brightly and cheerfully if you add a bright rainbow to your picture and make the cloud smile. I am for autumn works to be bright and given to children good mood— in our climate zone we need to warm ourselves with creativity and the warmth of our hearts. Let every autumn craft be like a warmer for the soul. Life should be bright on these gloomy autumn days.

Autumn is the time for rain and cloudy weather. You can make a craft that will tell you about this side of autumn. Any weather has its beauty. And it can be reflected in a craft.

Even such an elusive natural phenomenon as fog. Here with the help paper napkins(which we layer into thin transparent layers) you can make wisps of fog (the craft is in the photo below).

Children's autumn crafts

USING MOSAIC TECHNIQUE.

Craft mosaic from colored napkins AUTUMN LEAF .

If you stick square pieces of colored (yellow and red) table napkins randomly on top of each other, you can get an excellent material for cutting out autumn leaves.

Below, the master class demonstrates the general principle of creating such a children's autumn craft.

A colored napkin is placed on PVA glue - on top of an office file or film. Pieces of napkin can be torn (as in the photo below) or neatly cut into squares, as in the photo above.

Here maple leaf template for this children's autumn craft. By the way, This autumn leaf template can also be used as a template for a sticky mosaic craft with double-sided tape (using the same principle that we just made our own pumpkin).

You can also cut it out of cardboard in advance frame template in the form of an autumn leaf. Put a cardboard frame on a polyethylene file– colored side down. And with children's hands fill this frame with pieces of napkin. We pour glue directly onto the file and place napkins. Napkin roller should also touch the edges of the cardboard frame. Next, when the craft is dry, we separate it from the office file - the entire napkin mosaic will stick to the edges of the frame. And we hang this craft-frame with a mosaic on the window. The sun shines through bright layers of napkins. A beautiful stained glass autumn children's craft - which is easy to make in kindergarten or during school classes.

Here is a craft BUTTON PUMPKIN using the mosaic technique, which is made without glue. We will need a white sheet of paper, a black sheet of cardboard, double-sided tape and filling.

In this example, the mosaic filler is buttons, beads and glitter for nails. But buttons in our country are expensive. Therefore, it will be great if you simply prepare multi-colored (yellow, orange, brown and reddish) pieces of cardboard, finely cut with scissors + beads and sequins. It will be cheaper this way.

Draw the outline of a pumpkin on black cardboard. Cut with scissors. We cut a white sheet of paper to the size of our pumpkin hole on the cardboard. And cover the entire surface of the white sheet with double-sided tape. Carefully attach the sticky white sheet to back side black cardboard - so that it completely covers the pumpkin-shaped hole. And we get a sticky interior for our mosaic. Place mosaic filler in bowls or on a tray - pieces of paper, cardboard, shards of a broken cup, an orange plastic folder cut into fragments, chopped pieces of cardboard and anything else that comes to mind.

Your child will be happy to place small things on the sticky surface of the pumpkin.

If you want to conduct such an activity in kindergarten, then of course you won’t have enough tape and mosaic filler for all the children. Therefore, I suggest making pumpkins collectively - one for 4 children. There are 4 children sitting at the table - they are given one pumpkin for all, and each has a bowl of mosaic filler. Children lay the mosaic on the pumpkin together - and at the end of the work, when all the large parts are laid out, sprinkle the craft with powder.

Glitter powder costs money. Therefore, you can make your own powder coating using a cheaper product. Powder is possible make from semolina, painted orange. Semolina is painted with regular gouache and rubbed by hand into a dry, homogeneous mass. Another powder can be made from grated dry autumn leaves.

Children's autumn crafts

OWLS and HEDGEHOGS.

I don’t know why, but of all the birds, owls are best associated with autumn. It is their silhouettes that artists most often draw when they take on autumn forest landscapes. Well, let’s not lag behind the trends of great art and create our own autumn crafts, sketches with wise owls.

Let's start with a simple, but very favorite topic for all children. An owl inside a voluminous hollow. That is, we will make a real 3D tree. It's very simple to do - a sheet of paper is folded in half lengthwise - and then in half again. Now we unfold it and see that there are three fold lines on a piece of paper (that is, the sheet is divided into 4 equal long parts - now Place the outer halves of the sheet on top of each other- and we get triangular tube(that is, a pyramid tube - like the tree trunk in the photo below). On this tube (along the middle fold line) we use scissors to cut an oval hollow hole. Now, so that the tube does not unfold, we will secure these outer halves of the sheet (which we folded on top of each other) with glue - that is, we will close the back of our trunk.

We glue sticks and branches onto a sheet of paper (blue background - like the sky). In the middle we attach our triangular tree trunk with glue.

Now on a separate yellow sheet of paper draw a round owl(almost the size of a hollow). We decorate the owl with wings from paper of a different color, cut out a triangular forehead from paper of a different color and eyes from white paper.

So that our owl stays in the hollow– we glue a strip of paper, crumpled into a ring, onto the back of the owl (i.e., we cut off a strip of paper and closed the ends into a donut ring). We glue this paper ring with one side on the back of the owl and with the other side we glue it on the bottom of the hollow. It turns out that the owl sticks to the hollow and does not fall out of it.

Leftover from leftover yellow and red paper cut the leaves– stick them on the branches and draw veins on them. This is such a cute and simple autumn craft - suitable For senior group kindergarten.

And here is another interesting craft on the theme of OWL. In the photo the crafts are made from paper plates but we can just cut rounds from cardboard. Two circles per child.

Children cut one round piece in half (these are wings). We cover all parts with adhesive paint. If you mix paint with PVA glue - the proportions of glue are 4 times greater than gouache - then you can immediately glue the eyes and beak onto such glue paint - just put the paper parts into the liquid paint, and they will stick. Where to get cheap PVA glue immediately in liter buckets (and not in jars of a teaspoon) I already said a little higher in this article.

More more crafts on the topic of owl - I posted it in separate article

And also hedgehogs too good topic for autumn children's crafts. You can add a background of autumn leaves to them.

The craft above is suitable for the older group of kindergarten. We give the children a white paper cone (that is, you need to prepare cones for the number of children in advance). Using scissors, children cut the cone into fringe. Coat the fringe with glue and attach it to a background sheet of paper. Paint the cone brown (you can immediately make the cones from brown paper so as not to waste time on painting). All that remains is to glue autumn leaves onto the children's craft.

You will find a lot of ideas for crafts with hedgehogs on our website in a special article

Children's craft applique

AUTUMN TREE.

The youngest children can do simple crafts– glue the colored ovals of the tree crowns one by one. And then use a felt-tip pen to trace the lines drawn in pencil by the teacher’s hand.

The baby himself will not yet draw so symmetrically and branchily - but he will be able to trace ready-made pencil lines. You can work with a felt-tip pen only after the glue has completely dried - for example, after a quiet hour, the craft will dry out and the children can work without the felt-tip pen getting into the wet glue.

Or you can do without drawing with a felt-tip pen. Simply cut out thin slingshot trunks from brown paper and stick them on top of the colored paper tree crowns, as was done in the photo of the children's craft below.

Apple or pear trees too good idea for autumn children's crafts. You can make one tree with rosy apples. Or you can involve collective work and give other tables the task of cutting out leaves, flowers, and silhouettes of birds flying south. And then put it together into one overall autumn picture.

I collected a lot of crafts on the theme of APPLES and apple trees in a separate article called that

You can combine appliqué with drawing with wax crayons. The child first traces each drawn leaf along the lines with white wax chalk (or another color different from the color of the paper itself).

Then he takes scissors and cuts out the leaf without cutting the chalk line. And the tree collects from such leaves. You can collect a common tree - one for each children's table. Then compare which table turned out smoother, more magnificent, more fun. And hand out nominations - the most lush tree, the tallest tree, the most rainbow tree, etc. - so that no one is offended.

Autumn wreaths made of colored paper are also a good idea for a children's group craft for this fall. Each child is given a simple task that is feasible for children’s hands. Cut out 1-2 autumn leaves along the contour.

Painting made from colored paper

CARPET OF AUTUMN LEAVES.

Like this beautiful craft can decorate any interior. It is made from ordinary colored paper - with ordinary children's hands. You can make such a craft collectively with a group of children of the same class or in kindergarten with older children preschool age.

On a piece of colored paper - draw straight lines fine lines veined At the end of each line we draw a circle. Then we take scissors and cut along the contour of these designs.

We glue the cut veins onto regular leaves of the same shape - but contrasting in color. Then we combine all the leaves into single canvas. So that it is holey and openwork. That is, the leaves are glued to each other only by the EDGES.

Such a leafy openwork canvas can be taped to a window in a classroom or group. It will glow in the sun and set a cheerful autumn mood.

Children's autumn crafts

Trees on bushes.

Using the same mosaic technique, you can make such a children's craft in the form of autumn trees. We cover round cardboard pieces with colored napkins and insert them into the slot made in toilet paper rolls.

You can cut ovals in the form of leaves from colored paper. Kids will love putting together their fall tree. For ease of work, first place the round tree crown on the table, glue leaves on it, and only after that we put it into the slot on the toilet paper roll.

You can do it differently. Do not make a slot in the roll, but make a tree crown in the form of a POCKET, which can easily be put on the roll. Just cut out 2 silhouettes of the crown and glue them along the edges - the unglued middle will open up like a cap - and we put it on a roll-sleeve.

Children's autumn crafts

from leaves

for the little ones.

The simplest children's crafts made from autumn leaves are crafts for kids. When we offer a child a ready-made coloring printout and show that some elements on it can be made from natural materials.

Offer your child plenty of leaves and blades of grass different shapes- and let him choose the part to be replaced - the head, or the tail, or he wants to make ears, paws from natural material.

In the same way, you can use not one autumn leaf, but several at once. Or cover the craft with a whole pack of autumn herbarium (as in the photo with the hedgehog craft).

A lot of interesting ideas I have collected information on working with autumn leaves in a separate training article. I invite you to visit it a little later and learn new techniques for crafts made from foliage for this fall.

Drawing on autumn leaves.

children's autumn crafts.

The easiest autumn children's craft- this is to paint a large round sheet of paper with red paint and when it dries, draw red dots on it with your finger (not a brush). And then we glue such a leaf to a ready-made bug blank drawn on the leaf with black gouache.

If you don't have a leaf round shape , it's easy to fix. An ordinary maple leaf can be cut in a circle and you will get the desired shape.

We can stick an autumn leaf on paper. And cover it with any design, and draw the missing elements next to the leaf.

Before you start drawing We trace the contours of an autumn leaf on another sheet of paper and on this pencil copy draw a sketch of the future craft. In this way, we check in advance whether all the details of the planned design fit together well, as they fit on an autumn leaf.

And then, on a clean sheet of paper, carefully use a brush to convey all the elements of the draft sketch with bright, rich colors.

Some work can be done not with paints, but with bright, thick office markers or felt-tip pens (as was done on the frog craft in the photo below).

You can also add elements made of colored paper to a craft made from leaves with drawing. Below we see a beet family in the garden. The soil for the garden bed can be drawn, or cut out and colored paper, or made from a sprinkling of grated dry autumn leaves (grind the brown dry leaves into fine dust, pour pva glue onto a sheet of paper and sprinkle powder from the leaves on it). Or you can use regular tea leaves.

Children also just love painting large autumn leaves in bright gouache colors.

Or will it fit stained glass paint– it is thick and lays down in a beautiful glossy layer.

Children's crafts

with prints of autumn leaves.

We give the child a ready-made printable coloring sheet. A twig and the outlines of a bird should be drawn on it. The bird should be small so that there is a lot of free space on the sheet. And the twig should go across the entire sheet of paper - diagonally. This way we can place leaf prints on both sides of the branch. We cover the sheet with paint: with a brush, or better yet, with a sponge, we dilute the gouache with water in jar lids and give the children small pieces of the sponge. They blot the sheet with a sponge and put an imprint on our picture.

If you do not find a suitable ready-made coloring page on the Internet. You can draw it yourself on a piece of paper with a black felt-tip pen - and then print it out for the required number of children (this is if you work as a teacher in a kindergarten and decided to take this idea for classes in a group of 20 or more children).

And you can also translate this picture from the monitor screen - directly from this site- put a sheet of paper to the screen and trace the translucent picture with a pencil. To increase the image size to fit your sheet. Press the Ctrl key with one hand and roll the wheel of the computer mouse with the other hand - the image will change size larger or smaller, depending on where you turn the wheel: towards you or away from you.

Another autumn bird is the peacock. She is often depicted as autumn crafts. We will also make it from paper and paint. We will need paint to make leaf prints. First we collect several autumn leaves With different trees– you need long leaves (for the central part of the tail) and small leaves (for the lower part of the tail). From paper we cut out a circle-abdomen and a pear-shaped shape for the head. Beak and eyes.

We place our future bird’s abdomen on a sheet of paper, and with a pencil around the abdomen we outline the size of the future tail. – You can immediately place the leaves in a circle - outline their location.

Then we cover each sheet with autumn color paint (red, yellow, orange) using a brush - and leave prints on a sheet of paper. We dry the prints and glue the paper parts of the bird. Ready.

Children's autumn crafts

Using the STAMP technique.

Children really enjoy making prints with paints using stamps made from a cardboard roll. Regular toilet paper cut lengthwise in half (to reduce the socket, the whole pipe will give too large a petal) - flattened into a petal shape and connected with tape. We get convenient little leaf stamps. In small bowls (lids from jars or plates for flower pots) pour PVA glue and into it add gouache. The glue helps save gouache consumption - the color is just as bright and juicy.

Cheap PVA glue sold in construction stores - called UNIVERSAL PVA GLUE or CONSTRUCTION PVA GLUE. It is exactly the same as stationery children's PVA - but its price is 4-5 times lower than that of stationery and it is sold immediately in buckets of 500 - 1000 grams. One bucket is enough for 2 months of crafts for the entire kindergarten group. Convenient and cheap.

You can also bend a cardboard roll at the top and bottom into a hollow - and secure it with electrical tape so that it does not unbend. And then you will get a stamp in the shape of an apple. Using it, you can make autumn children's crafts on the theme of fruits - with homemade preparations - compote or apple jam.

You can also use real apples cut in half as stamps.

The stamp can be cut into any shape and with an internal pattern - from ordinary potatoes. For example, cut NOTCHES on an oval slice of potato in the form of veins of an autumn leaf.

Also, the inflorescence of CAULIFLOWER is a ready-made convenient stamp for drawing an autumn tree. This children's craft is suitable for the youngest children 2-3 years old.

Regular round wine cork can also be a good stamp for a children's autumn craft in the form of an apple tree.

Children's autumn craft-landscape

in technology

MIRROR PRINT.

And the imprint technique can create an autumn landscape like this, reflected in the water. We need to divide the sheet into 2 halves horizontally. Bend this sheet along the line (so that there is a ready-made convenient fold line). Then paint the lower part of the sheet under the fold blue (the color of the water in the lake). And on the top half apply a light shade of blue sky. Dry it all.

And then VERY QUICKLY, without letting the paints dry, we APPLY BRIGHT SPOTS of trees on upper half sheet - a blunder at speed. And quickly, before they dry, we bend the sheet along our fold line - so that the spots of the trees PRINT ON THE BACKGROUND OF THE LAKE. If necessary, we repeat this procedure again - apply the same paints to the same places and bend the sheet again. Then we add touches in the form of tree branches. And if necessary, after drying, we once again go over the lake half of the sheet with blue paint.

Crafts-paintings

from cut leaves

The leaves do not necessarily have to be included in the entire application - in their natural form. You can cut out any shapes from autumn leaves - squares, diamonds, circles. In the craft below we see that the leaf is cut into diamonds and each diamond is a flying kite. Long blades of grass are like the strings of kites, and bright stems are like their long tails.

Large parts can be cut from a wide maple leaf. This cute pig consists entirely of one leaf, which was cut with scissors.

Leaves are paper given to us by nature. And you can work with leaves like paper. Cut out any necessary parts for applique from the leaves and make children's autumn crafts from them. Simple and fast.

There is a whole children's book in France, which is illustrated with just such cut-out appliqués from living leaves. Why don't you come up with illustrations for your favorite stories. You can work as a whole class and do a lot of collective work. All illustration crafts must be photographed in good quality and order (from a printing house or photo studio) an album with a story illustrated with children's works. Then this trial model can be taken to the publishing house - publishers may be interested in such an idea and your class can publish a real book with a large circulation - and earn yourself an interesting class trip or excursion. Why not.

These are the ideas for children's autumn crafts that I published today.

There are many more different ones on our website autumn ideas suitable for implementation by children's hands in special thematic articles.

Happy crafting!

colorful park,

colorful garden,

Leaf fall has begun!

The leaves have begun to fall!

Under the guys' feet

The leaves rustle happily.

After reading the poem, I asked the children questions:

About what natural phenomenon does the poem say?

What does the word "leaf fall" mean?

Why leaves fall in autumn?

Why do leaves need to be removed only from the paths we walk on, and why is it better to leave them under the trees?

The children were interested to learn that by shedding their leaves, trees prepare for winter frosts, winds and snowfalls. Falling, the leaves protect the trees from loss of moisture and freezing, and protect the roots of the tree, covering the ground with a continuous carpet.

The children played with great interest didactic game"Which tree is the leaf from?" and the outdoor game "Falling Leaves".

Manufacturing process" Autumn carpet"It also turned out to be very interesting. The children enjoyed cutting out colorful leaves and gluing them.

It turned out beautiful" autumn carpet"!

Early autumn It turned out to be warm here in Karelia, our northern people calmly harvested the harvest, picked lingonberries from the forest, and stocked up on mushrooms for the winter. Golden autumn pleased with its beauty, our children created wonderful bouquets, happily showed them to each other, boasted to the teachers and asked to take photographs.

The guys and I made a herbarium, we even brought leaves from the city of Petrozavodsk, since many trees do not grow here, then we made applications from autumn leaves. .In our kindergarten before autumn During the holidays, we decided to hold an exhibition of family creativity, which they called " Autumn bouquet ". Children and parents began to create their masterpieces with great enthusiasm. The exhibition was a great success! Well, the children and I preparatory group decided to contribute. The guys and I worked for several days

First of all, we made stencils of different autumn leaves, then circled them with a simple pencil onto album sheets of paper, and already during the drawing lesson I invited the children to decorate their leaves with their fingers using multi-colored watercolors.

While they were working, they repeated all the names of trees and leaves. After the paint had dried, we cut out the leaves and

started work on the background. The children used pokes to decorate a sheet of whatman paper with blue gouache, resulting in a voluminous fluffy design. They decided to make a vase from multi-colored thin strips of plasticine, and everyone worked in turns.

Twigs for bouquet They were also molded from plasticine.

We thought for a long time about how to make a frame for our picture, then we selected all the small leaves and glued them to the sides. The final touch was laid out the largest Maple leaves, beautiful rowan in the center, oak on the sides. then they glued everything on and couldn’t stop admiring their work! At the exhibition our work appreciated and hung in the center, the guys and I were very pleased with the result of our work, everyone had great pleasure. When the exhibition ended we decorated the locker room with our autumn bouquet, now it’s late, gloomy autumn and I really don’t want to say goodbye to such beauty!
